Such a off road treasure shop for sure, we see antiques, and it's like a light goes off. We need to stop now. Native American, antiques and local artist work, jewelry, archeology pieces, arrowheads, and pottery. Fabulous store, I just couldn't keep away from local artists' treasures. Walked away with rings, money holder, love stone hand painted, and a Indian beaded silver bracelet. They were all too fabulous to not buy. The ladies that own the local business were so pleasant and friendly that we really enjoyed chatting with them. Their dog, Miro, not sure about the name, was a beautiful German Shepard. Skippy got along fine with her, and they even let us give their furry baby a treat they had and gave Skippy one, too.    Read moreIf you are in Fort Garland, you have to visit this treasure of a place. They have real items from frontier life, not the tourist ,kitschy ,genuine made in china stuff. Super friendly people, open to just lookers who are not looking to buy, lots of real history on display, with a close representation of life in a Hogan, like the Native tribes of the area lived.
