Played this course last week with my brother and best friend. It's just down the road from his house so we thought we'd give it a try. I did read dozens of reviews prior to playing so I had some expectations on how this course would be. I was correct. It is a multi-million operation with a muni course. And not a good muni course. The facilities are amazing. People moving and bustling about and great practice greens, chipping greens, and driving range. All of the staff we dealt with were professional and friendly. And then you play golf, and are let down. It's just not a good course. Layout is okay but it is not picturesque and the greens/fairways/tee boxes are in rough shape, to say the least. There is one par 3 over water that looks like it has been deserted by the landscaping and grounds crew. We were charged $109 plus tax to play there. If I paid $20, I would feel I paid a bit too much. Many of the return comments from the management state they are doing upgrades, if so, I'd wait until they are complete before playing here again. There are much better courses in the area (Falcons Fire, for example) for the same price and there are better courses in the area for less money. I'm not that guy who posts only when I have bad experiences, but just telling it like...
Read moreBought this round thru Group Golfer for $39/ea. Greens were in great condition, pro shop was stocked with nice merchandise. That is the only good things I can say. Tee boxes & fairways in rough shape. It was almost 100 degrees & we were told there wasn't any drinking water on the course but there was a beverage cart out there. We never saw it till we stopped at the restroom at 13. If we hadn't stopped we would have missed it completely. Good news about the cart, candy bars were cold. Bad news about the cart, beer was cool but not cold. Never found the red tees on the 3rd hole for the wives so we had to guess on location. Never found white tees on 16 so played the guessing game again with warm beer. Several tees had the white tees & gold tees backwards. $20/ea would be ok, $39/ea bad deal, $99/ea rack rate,...
Read moreTerrible golf course felt like I really got ripped off. Paid $233 dollars for my wife and I to play and was absolutely disgusted at almost everything on the course. Greens were in horrible shape bare spots in places and weeds growing up through them. There bunkers had weeds growing in them fairways were unkept burnt in alot of places and considering your in Florida absolutely terrible landscaping. Greens were tough but we were told that before we started. Staff was nice but that’s the extent of what I can say good about the place. Not worth more than $25-$30 a round. Hilton should be absolutely embarrassed to have their name attached to this place. The best part about golfing there was when it was over. Stay...
