Terrible experience. Won’t ever return here. We are Hilton gold members and have always stayed at Hilton due to the nice hotels and how we are treated. So we were interested in joining Hilton Vacation Club and stayed here for the tour. We have two young kids and my husband likes to golf so we thought this was going to be great. We had a two bedroom which was very spacious. The moment I walked into the room though there was a pile of human hair. I didn't let it get to me and just threw it away. There were also little bugs (being from Florida already i said it happens) We brought our own cleaning supplies and just cleaned up. The first day we went to the activities center so my son could make some slime and the lady was very gracious with teaching him and then we headed to downtown Disney for dinner reservations so we really didn't get a feel for the place yet. The following morning we had a 830 tour. Our guy (Chris) we had was very nice and could sell you anything. If it wasn't for him we honestly would have walked out of there. So we had 3 chairs at his desk(we had to bring our kids becuse they require husband and wife to be there).. we left the desk to go to a quick presentation and when we came back another family (with lots of kids) was sitting at a table next to us and obviously had our chairs. It was no big deal at all and our sales guy made a joke to the other one hey you stole my chairs and laughed. Literally no one cared because chairs were easy to get. But the other family's mom lost her mind and swung a chair back to us and almost hit my 4 year old and started screaming at us. Then after they get her calmed down her son comes up to my son and grabs his toy out of his hand (not a community toy one we brought with) and tries to walk|||| away My husband got the toy and said sorry but that's ours. The mom again loses her mind causing a scene at this place and saying her son is only 1. Which we understand we have a l and 4 year old too but we aren't grabbing things and if they did we would apologize not scream at them. (Her 1 year old could walk and speak, and was bigger than my 4 year old who towers over 6 year olds). My husband then told the woman she needed to back off she was walking towards us aggressively with her hands in the air and threatened us and said she was the last person to mess. (She made it about race after almost hitting a child with a chair) The staff intervened and asked her and her family to leave. It escalated so quickly I don't even understand how it happened. The staff advised us they would be trespassed from property(which she was not). They later told us cops here take so long to respond sorry. Loll laughed because my husband and myself are both law enforcement in the same state and we know in an active disturbance/trespassing situation it wouldn't take a long time. Even after all that we still thought to make a deal about the timeshare but after the ordeal we didn't feel like staying there cause the relaxation was gone. The staff said well we could transfer you to our sister hotel but it's under construction and farther away, and I'm like no then. Then they said becuse we came on a timeshare tour they had a hard time finding us somewhere to go for an equal amount of money. I told them we were Hilton Gold members and had points to use if they found us somewhere to go we would cover the rest of the cost. After a run around conversationwe jsut said we would find our own place and went back to the room. We took the kids to the pool to say maybe we can make it work, we were wrong (we saw the family at the pool)... We checked out early and the manager stopped me on the way out and gave me 30,000 points. Um. Thanks but that doesn't cover anything, but i said thank you and walked out. I don't like drama (we deal with for a living and lay it in the line there ) we work very to not put our kids in any uncomfortable situations like that. That other family never left, they were staying near us and can only imagine what she would do if she saw us at the pool.||If she reacted that way in front of everyone at the tour l'm sure other encounters would be worse.||Anyways we won't be staying here again. Oh and I forgot mention we found a rusty nail on the ground as well. Thankfully my husband had his shoes on and stepped on it without penetrating the skin.||Otherwise that could have been my kids. The only reason I’m giving this a 2 is because of the nice...

I booked this resort through a third-party site, selecting—and paying extra for—a specific room based on the photos and descriptions provided. Unfortunately, what my family and I encountered upon arrival was far from what was advertised.
At check-in, I was surprised to learn about an unexpected $200 deposit in addition to the resort fees already disclosed. Communication and transparency were lacking from the beginning. Even something as simple as obtaining a parking pass turned into a lengthy process involving pushy attempts to sign us up for a two-hour timeshare presentation. The urgency to be on time for the presentation was emphasized, yet when we arrived, they were the ones running late.
Upon entering our room, it was immediately clear that it wasn’t the one I reserved. The space had an unpleasant odor, there were bugs and multiple long hairs in the “clean” towels, the guest bathroom toilet was clogged with standing water, and the master shower was unsanitary—clogged with thick, slimy hair. The room was outdated and in poor condition, with damaged furniture, scratched cabinets, and hair throughout.
Attempts to contact the front desk were unsuccessful; no one answered our calls. Because of a severe storm and the room’s distance from the main building, we stayed put that evening. The next morning, I called to ask about breakfast and was told that there were no food services—everything must be purchased separately. We had to grocery shop and cook, only to find that the stove’s lights and fan didn’t work, and the washer/dryer made a loud clicking noise.
The amenities were a letdown. The pool near our unit was small and uninviting. The resort’s steep layout made walking around difficult—especially for anyone with mobility challenges.
The presentation itself was disappointing—it wasn’t even on-site or personalized to the resort. It was virtual and nationwide, which was never mentioned beforehand. Despite declining repeatedly, I was pressured by multiple representatives for over an hour after the presentation should’ve ended.
At checkout, I asked to speak with a manager to show them photos and videos of the room’s condition. The manager, Corazon Domagas, initially refused to come out. When she finally did, her response was dismissive, defensive, and unprofessional. She spoke over me, showed no empathy, and refused to review the documentation. Instead, she insisted on giving me “points” toward a future stay and blamed the condition on renovations, claiming my family had been placed in an older unit.
Despite reporting the issue immediately and providing call logs from both the room and my personal phone, she questioned me instead of checking their own records. The whole interaction was uncomfortable—not just for me, but also for other guests and even her staff, who appeared shocked by her behavior.
I never received the points I was promised, nor was my $200 deposit refunded. It’s now been over a week, and no one from the resort has followed up, even though corporate provided a case number and assured me the resort would be in contact.
This experience was unacceptable. The resort was unsanitary, poorly maintained, and mismanaged. My children wanted to leave the moment we stepped into the room. If you're looking for a relaxing, clean, and professional stay—this is not the place. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this resort or Hilton based on...

They have made some positive improvements in a year. But, it seems for every 3 steps they took forward, they took 2 steps back. The bad: The courtyard pool heater was broken and they didn't know till we reported it. There was a luggage cart that the wheel was completely shredded. (Building 19) It didn't happen the day before. They need to spend more attention to detail. The layouts of the room are comical, considering how much they spent renovating them. No one did a floor plan with the furniture. One of the end tables is 6 feet from the nearest outlet. A small child would be drawn to to the cord. For another $200, they could have moved the outlet. They still need to post 911 addresses for the pool and public areas. They need more chairs at the pools. By 8 am, they are all taken. They ran out of automatic dishwasher soap for 3 days. There is no excuse for that. You don't wait for your supplier, you take care of the problem.
The Good: Customer service had improved tremendously. Ann was amazing and took care of anything we needed and promptly answered any questions or concerns we had.
Wifi was excellent compared to last year. You still have to log in every 24 hours, which is annoying.
We were at the main pool twice, and we didn't see any raccoons.
2024 review:
A very nice property. It is located in what passes for a rural area outside of Orlando. The housekeeping service strives to fill your needs. Plenty of parking. The pools were the warmest outdoor pools I have ever been in. We had a 1 bedroom with a washer/dryer. The room was clean and in excellent condition. The WIFI was unacceptable for 2024. Out of 12 nights, I had one night of uninterrupted bandwidth. If I had to work remotely, I would have had difficulties in working. They also have the out of date, annoying Hilton WIFI protocol of signing back in every 24 hours.
One of the few issues that concerns me, is the lack of interest in guest safety. They have signs to call 911 in case of an emergency in every pool area, but none of the signs have the physical address posted. The first question you are asked when you call 911 is, " What and where is your emergency."
My second concern is the pool area that has a Tiki Bar. It is infested with raccoons. Raccoons are nocturnal animals and the odds are if they are out during the day, they are sick, or worse, are rabid. We witnessed more than 5 raccoons in the middle of the afternoon, diving into the garbage cans to retrieve garbage. The garbage cans are by the outer edge of the pool area and are easy access for wildlife. Some of the guests were trying to chase them away from the sitting area.
We brought this up to the staff, and they were disinterested. We also saw a supervisor who explained the difficulty of keeping the raccoons out, because people feed them. He said he saw one guest who was feeding a raccoon on his chest. I live in an area with bears, deer, bobcats and other wildlife. If you don't feed them, they go away.
The staff needs to take this issue seriously and stop guests from feeding them. They need to move the garbage cans away from the fence and into the main sitting area.
From my own experience, I can tell you when these two issues will be fixed. After someone dies at a public location because they did not know the physical address and someone gets bit by a rabid raccoon.
Other than those two issues, I do look forward to coming...
