I am not saying don't go to this place I just want to make you aware of what could happen. First you will learn what tech you want to do your nails. Some have no clue what they are doing and they do not understand what you are saying so they rely on the others. Ok no big deal. But IMO you should never leave a nail salon with burned and bleeding cuticles because the tech was careless, rough and preoccupied. You shouldn't have to return within days of your manicure to get nail polish repaired due to under curing after they told you they were good. Also if you are worried about cost be sure to ask before starting bc your $45 set could turn into a $70 set real quick. More than 1 color pay extra, change shape pay extra, design pay extra, certain polish is $10 more. I know what tech I will schedule with rather than walking in because I have had 3 others and I will not let them do my nails again. The one everyone loves because he can do great designs but he's the one who left me burned and bleeding. I was excited to have him do my nails but after he was done I was in legit pain. I will give them credit that their acrylic product is great and I can go weeks without lifting. Pictures the day of my appt and pictures of the day after. My fingers are so sore. I was...
Read moreI can’t show this place enough love. I showed up here in tears because the nail salon I went to originally absolutely DESTROYED my nails and they were for my wedding in two days. A long, horrible story short, I left the first salon bleeding, crying, and out $95 for nails I absolutely hated. I’m local to Waynesburg and usually go here, but didn’t this time because we had so much planned in Morgantown that it was more convenient at the time to get it done there - lesson learned. I walked in and a woman IMMEDIATELY came to me and began helping me. The first image is a picture from Google as a reference of what I wanted. The pictures with the green dot flowers (lmfao) and very weird rounded index finger are what I came in with (because the other salon left a huge mess), and the last two are what I left with - I absolutely LOVED them. They were perfect. They saved my day this past Thursday, cleaning up the mess of another salon so quickly. I will never go to another salon in the area. I’ve gone here at least 8 times including this, and my mother in law who comes in from Florida also goes here and LOVES it. They are amazing. I owe them everything, and I wish I could have tipped my nail tech HUNDREDS because you can’t put a price tag on what...
Read moreGot a $55 gel pedicure here while on a work trip expecting to treat myself. The lady cut way past my cuticle trimmers to the point where I was bleeding pretty bad. It didn’t stop bleeding by the time I left and they put my shoes and socks back on. I bled into my socks.
They refused to give a discount and acted shocked when I asked for one. I paid $75 for them to paint my nails awfully and I’m still bleeding.
I’m sure it’s unsanitized and they didn’t give me a bandaid. Just tried to stop the bleeding so they could slap some polish on and send me on my way. A horrible job.
EDIT: I was refunded a majority of the cost. The owner, Tammy, who wasn’t present at the time, was very receptive to my feedback. I’m confident that my situation was a one-off and I deeply appreciate the lengths she went through to...
