I spent a month traveling with a toy hauler and some bikes from Michigan to San Diego. I pretty much just decided the next place to go when I was done with one place. I had a great time, but ran into some problems finding a campground because I was always looking for a spot the day of. I wanted to go to Zion, so was hoping to stay in Kanab. Everything was full, but the guy from the RV Coral pointed me to WheelInn. I'm really glad he did because it was only $25 for a full hookup site and the sites were plenty large enough to leave my truck connected and flip the ramp down to unload my motorcycles. No shower house or bathrooms yet, but it's perfect if you don't need it. Much better for me because I didn't need a fancy spot to hang out in all day. I went to the North rim of the Grand Canyon one day, Best Friends animal sanctuary and hiking another, dirt biking in Kanab, and then Zion a couple days. This place was about average an hour to everything I wanted to do. Erik and Alicia were super friendly and helpful. I always like supporting a family owned business, especially when I travel. From chatting about their future plans it sounds like the campground is only going to get better. I'll be back and I would recommend anyone stay there. Yes, it's just open lots with no amenities right now like some reviews say, but it's perfect if you just want a full-hookup place to camp while you're out and about seeing all the surrounding areas...

We had critical online obligations to fulfill and saw a review that rated this parkās Wi-Fi as excellent, plus the $25.00 per night rate was enough to encourage us to spend a few nights here.
On this trip we had suffered through many campgroundās Wi-Fi speeds that measured in KBs instead of MBs. It was nice that we did not have to tether our phones to the computer to conduct our business.
This park is a āwork-in-progressā with the family working daily to make improvements and they immediately respond to issues a guest may have. One guest had an issue and the husband and wife owners responded within five minutes.
The surface of the park is dirt, so it is dusty, Fredonia gets an 8ā annual rainfall, but the owner is making a huge investment to haul in gravel to correct that problem. They are also building a tall fence to separate the seasonal section from the mobile RV section and the immature shrubbery is growing fast.
The Wi-Fi was excellent, see image, and the nights were so quite we extended our stay three times. Three nights became...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat place to stay! They are doing some work so no facilities yet but they are getting there. They have the most important thing down already - friendliness! Both Eric and Alicia were very nice. They helped us with two mail issues and gave us great tips on what to see in the area. They genuinely wanted us to have a good experience and we did. We stayed 2 weeks and had plenty to do and see. The park is quiet and the spaces are huge! Our rig is on the smaller side but they can fit the big boys easily! All the spaces are pull-thru which is nice as well. Full hookups and the rates are cheap. We paid $25/night but if you stay a week the rate is $125. Cannot beat that! The park is close to Kanab, UT (about 10-15 mins) and it has everything you need, gas, groceries, restaurants, etc. The park is MUCH cheaper and less crowded than the parks in Kanab. Definitely worth going here for quiet and more space. They are doing great things with it and I hope we get the chance to come back someday and see...
