Ruined my hair & now I have to go get it cut again to even out the uneven choppy layers. I trusted the 5 star reviews, but I guess they aren’t experienced with alternative or pixie style hair cuts.

To be fair, when I left the salon my hair looked okay with the way it was styled. The way she styled it really hid how horrible the layers in my hair were. She also kept insisting on styling my hair the exact opposite way I asked her to, which was with a middle part & pushed back behind my ears and out of my face.

I asked her to take the length off the back of my hair but she kept it long for some reason, even after I asked her to cut it shorter. I wanted my hair cleaned up and tapered in a bit around my neck, like in the reference photos.

My goal was to regrow my hair at an even length without having a mullet, but she wasn’t understanding what I wanted. I kinda gave up at that point on getting the haircut I wanted. I accepted that I was gonna get a different hairstyle than I wanted but I just wanted my damaged hair gone & I at least expected it to be well done..

It was only after I got home & washed and dried my hair that I saw the real damage. As you can see in the photos, the layers she cut into my hair are extremely uneven and choppy, not in a good way either. The layers don’t blend well and are way too blunt to wear unless I camouflage them with an extremely messy style or simply a hat. The back is even worse but I didn’t get very good photos of it. There are some layers cut so short & blunt, that I am gonna have to get a very short pixie cut to get them to blend well and look remotely like a decent hair cut.

They might do well with longer hair cuts here, but definitely not with pixie cuts....

I originally scheduled a hair coloring/cut appointment with Julie. I knew going in I would pay the master stylist price and I was okay with it, I would rather pay extra for the master stylist and like it then pay the novice price and it not be perfect. Going into my appointment I assumed Julie would work only on me, for the whole entire appointment, since I booked an appointment with her. Well, I was wrong. She had everyone else do something with me. Washing my hair it was someone different (that’s fine it’s only hair washing) but what got me is she was coaching three other girls to do the hair that I wanted (just a little lighter than my original but an even color). I let them know I have previously dyed it with box dye in the past, but she barely helped during the process and had the three other girls do it instead. My hair had bleach on it and one of the girls put heat on it as well. Well, my hair has broken off from this and it still has not looked right. Half of my hair is shorter than the rest because of the breakage and has just looked wonky ever since. My hair color was extremely uneven and they even charged me over $200 for this procedure. They did offer to fix this for free and I accepted and yet again it was with someone different. My hair for the second time again looked completely uneven in color and just looked weird and extremely damaged. I was extremely disappointed and upset, not only because of the money spent, but because I requested to have a master stylist do my hair and that didn’t happen yet again. I’m writing this review because I hope no one has to go through...

HORRIBLE BROWS!!!! On Saturday, August 24 th I had an appointment to have my brows microbladed.

Macie is a sweet girl BUT she did NOT give me the brows I had asked her for. I asked her to make visible hair strokes and they just look filled in, like I had put powder on them.

I called the owner Julie on Saturday, August 31 and she said to give it a week to heal and she would call me back.

I have NOT heard back from Julie and she has not offered to make this right!

I spent $400 in cash for a service I DID NOT receive!!!

I had been to this salon in 2019 & 2022 to have my brows microbladed by Mallory and they were flawless.

This was NOT my experience, my brows look TERRIBLE!!!

I’ll have to find Mallory and have her correct them, if that’s even possible OR worse yet, I will have to live with these less than ideal brows on my face for a few years until they fade and have them done again correctly by Mallory.

I found Mallory online after someone told me she left this salon and opened her own. Had I known this I would have NEVER gone to tame your mane.

I will NEVER RETURN to tame your mane again!!!

This is NOT Okay business practices and I will be reporting this salon to the BBB tomorrow morning.
