Paramount Cinema — Local services in Fremont

Always a fun time going to the Paramount in Fremont. The staff are friendly and they do have reduced ticket prices on Tuesdays as well as for matinee shows. Concessions are pricey but you'll run into that anywhere (that's how they make most of their money - ticket prices mostly go to the studios) and they do offer some combos to save you a few bucks. They just updated all the seating in 2018 so it's very comfortable to sit anywhere. My only hangup is the limited theater space - depending on the release schedule, you might want to see a movie that ends up being axed after only a couple weeks because bigger films come out. Theater #4 is also extremely small and not as well taken care of - I saw a film there over the summer and there was a noticeable blemish on the screen that I had to mentally ignore. Quality and affordable. Grateful that they've kept the lights on against all the options to isolate us. The staff is young and seemingly well managed. Sunday matinee was good priced, and they seem to have steady concessions. Our popcorn 🍿 was spot on. 👌 The place is old enough that it was my first local cinema 🎥 back in the 80's. It's clean, not musty, and comfortable. Like many multiplexes there is leaking of noise between the main 3 screening rooms. The 4th is the smallest. That one had pretty rickety seats 💺 last time I was there. We watched The Haunted Mansion 👻 with Danny Devito and others. It was family enjoyment, not vulgar, funny, not offensive 🥳🥸👀🧠🧟‍♂️🧘‍♀️🤱👨‍🏫

I will never go to see another movie here again. All seats are on flat surface so no incline slope. Lights are always on so if the movie is dark you are gonna get lots of glare if you are not centered in the theater. Loud kids and adults that kept talking and making noise in the theater during the movie ( Not laughing ). Several complaints made and nothing done. Was not even 30 min into movie and walked out. First time I've ever done that. I'm sure movie was good but wouldn't know it if it was with all the distractions. Management would not even give a refund.
