The atmosphere is nice. It's a good size room for bigger parties. It's separated with the front being where they serve food. The banquet hall is next to it, along with doors that can be closed. There's a stage in the banquet room. The bathrooms are clean and not far from seating. Cons- The chairs aren't comfortable at all. They look like they're padded, but they're very hard and don't have any support. The dinner was a typical spaghetti spread. It was awful, and it had a funky aftertaste. They used fettuccine noodles instead of spaghetti noodles. They were all stuck together and very difficult to make a plate with. The salad was good, and the dressing options were delicious. The staff wasn't very good at keeping everything fully stocked. People had to keep asking if they had any more to put out. That made standing in line much longer than necessary. With a few adjustments, they could really be a great place for anyone looking for a hall, banquet room, and more. The decorations are beautiful. It's a very unique place.

This place allows LPW to set up in their parking lot - what's not to like?? But seriously, we went for the wrestling and indulged in some food: nachos, popcorn, school pizza and the street corn, which was amazing. Cool place in little old Fremont.

We have visited the Strand on numerous occasions for events ranging from concerts to Big Time Wrastle'n. This place is a true hidden gem in Sandusky County. The atmosphere is excellent, the food is great and the entertainment is always top notch.

Really cool place. Bummer that they never bring in live musical acts anymore. If you want to watch wrestling live.. thats about all they do now.

Miss the days with live acts.

Response to owner: as a kid who grew up and played in local bands and had friends in the band scene, I was overjoyed to see a local venue open up like this. I understand the hardships of the pandemic, but your kidding if you think you can't get people in the house for live music these days. Maybe think about catering to a younger crowd every now and again. I drive to the village idiot in Maumee to see unique bands from the area. I'm not cutting your establishment down out of spite, I'm just saying.. right now, Fremont doesn't really have a live music venue to speak of in my mind. ... and it wouldn't be hard to put together a weekly music event that you keep a calendar of online and switch around the genres to appeal to different crowds. Fremont is dying for a place like that. And I hope we get one soon....

The place is set up like a teachers lounge in the 80's, and has prices like a "mom n pop" grocery store in a small town ... $2 for a CAN of pop!?!? (Soda) I suppose when you have a sign that reads "restrooms for customers only" on the entrance, it must be their way of charging admission lol. I've never seen more than 3 customers inside... they all get quiet and look at the door when someone walks in .... almost as...
