Computer Works Inc — Local services in Frenchtown Charter Township

Paid them a lot of money to begin planning on a website...that never came to fruition. First the website started with an estimate at $5,000...then $10,000. They got ~$500 to begin the 'planning stage'. Which, was actually a pile of papers they try to confound you with, only to make it seem more complex than it really is, and get more money from more meetings (which they billed hourly I believe). When I started to work through that and turn it in, when they said "Well, we're no longer building websites anymore, we've decided to work on Ticketmaster's stuff". "So now we want to charge you 10K for that same website cause uh, we're just to busy". Over $500 lighter, I get dumped like a rotten fish. I'm not sure I'm the one who smells.

Computer Works has taken our company out of the "dark ages"! They started us out with a new phone system and internet, and now we are going into a new on-line invoicing and customer base! They are always there to help with any questions or problems that you may have. Tim goes "over and above" to make sure that anytime you have a question or an "issue", it gets resolved immediately! Corey literally saved all of our accounting with our old system when the dreaded "blue screen" popped up and we had not been backing up our system daily! I honestly cannot say enough, well deserved, great things about all of the guys that work at this company! I would highly recommend them for all of your IT...

Was having internal microphone issues that got fixed with a simple reset done by them in 10 minutes once before (no charge) and a few weeks later the microphone would stop picking up sound intermittently all of a sudden. I took it back over because I forgot how it was fixed the last time. After less than 30 minutes I got a call it was fixed by a manufacturer driver update. He typed up instructions of how to do it if I ever had the problem again and then I was on my way. They're very customer oriented, I found the fee to evaluate a computer to be reasonable, and I had a wonderful experience with them. I won't think twice before returning for any computer issues...
