Been there for several times, but today they HARASSED me. As usual I went to check out. I gave the membership card which I used everytime. It was my husband card which I always use , never had that issue before. Anyway the lady there took my card and asked Mockingly - â IS That Youâ? Literally you can tell thatâs my husband pics and I am standing right there . So , (asking is that you )literally makes no sense. asked for my Id , I gave it with out knowing whatâs going on , seems and treated like I am a CRIMINAL, as the cashier didnât explain till that point whatâs going on! Two other employees jumped in still unaware whatâs going on, in the mean time after showing a discriminating behavior, tried to give me explanation after 5-10 mins what is wrong , I said you are not supposed to treat someone like a criminal like this and I asked for manager, the manager came . Holding my receipt in hand , at that time when 3-4 people who had already been rude to their behavior and attitude try to explain me what happened, Seriously after disgruntled behavior the manager came to explain me , at that time I felt so discriminated and Harassed that I felt like to go out from the store. I asked the manager please â Give me my receipt â I donât need any explanation , I am done ! again and again STILL that Manager kept hold my Receipt didnât allow me to go , I have been FORCED to be there by the manager even I asked please give me my receipt SEVERAL Times, , so that I can go, at last. When I said â ok if you are not giving me receipt â I am going out and donât want the products , Then the manager gave me the receipt, come on you can not ForCeFully hold someone receipt like that and donât let go that person ,
after that I went to the Membership registry and was talking to one associate to understand whatâs exactly went wrong (as the Manager and his employees treated me like I am a criminal. And donât to hear anything from them as they were not apologetic and tried to make their point. .) the supervisor came running and Giving answer , cutting me out while I tried to have the conversation with one of the associate - I said I am not talking to you , please let him answer, â The Lady quoted,â I m his Supervisor , I will talkâ wow what a customer service, in every step , where a supervisor is Showing her superiority and not letting her employee to talk to me. And forcing me to talk to her only , literally when you are not allowing your associate to speak to me!!
You might be Supervisor !! but please allow your employee to speak , without cutting them, This shows how you treated your associates too!
So , Bottom line- Itâs been effective that each member of the family should have individual card as they said they have imposed that after Covid but apparently they didnât implement that as until now, (AS I was not aware and never been told before) in my case as otherwise I would have not able to use and shop with my husband membership card ( same one ) after Covid many times!!! Used the same card To get in and check out many times until today. Also, they say I have membership card but I never got it , and never BeeN AWARE that shopping needs individual cards as I shopped with my husband membership card fine till today!!!!
Thatâs fine, we should follow the rules, but a person who is unaware of that till now but has been treated like CRIMINALS, wondering what I had done wrong? without getting any explanations in the first hand and then jumped 3-4 person at a time explaining what happened, Holding the receipt - forced someone to listen even the person donât want to listen from those people who already treated that person as a Criminal and not letting one associate to explain when that customer approached to know what happened .
I admit I had to raise my voice ( of course I Dinât shout) when 3-4 Costco employees HARRASSED and discriminate you and trying to prove their point , without being apologetic! I WISH EACH and EVERY employee should treat everyone nicely and same rule apply...
Read moreThis is specifically for the tire shop. I used this place for tires on both of my cars, and itâs ok for the most part. The recent visits made me decide to not use this location anymore. One time the guy at the desk couldnât find my appointment and refused to work on my car until I showed him the email confirmation. He was rude. He didnât look happy at all, but shouldnât have chosen a customer to vent. They are picky about tire mileage warranty too. I bought 4 tires and rotated them on schedule as they recommended except for the last one. They told me because I missed a rotation, and wouldnât honor the warranty. Yes, I missed one, but after about 7k miles since the last rotation, all 4 tires were completely worn at 20k, and I didnât think a rotation would have made any difference. Tesla eats up tires quicker than other cars. You can never reach the marked mileage on the warranty (45k in my case) even if you drive conservatively. If you own an electric vehicle, think twice before getting tires from here. If you have wheel locks, donât use this place. One time, they didnât return the key after service. I called, but they said the technician had put it in the car. I went back to the store and another guy found the key on their desk. It matches my wheel locks so I had to assume itâs mine. The guy did give it to me. I just question how they were telling different stories when they clearly didnât put the key back as they were supposed to. Also with the wheel lock, they told me the lock stopped working after service. They had issues when taking the lugs off initially but they did in the end, now they couldnât put them back on. They said it was damaged before hand. My only option was to file a claim which I did. However, itâs just another process that ended with more frustration. The key was used mostly at this location, because I did most tire work at Costco. The key was only used a couple times at the dealer for alignment and I had never heard any issue with my key or wheel locks in general. The last two usages of the key were at this location. I could only imagine the key would just work under normal use, but the shop had bad practices or misused it. There is a sticker on the key showing power tools cannot be used. My only guess would be the technician used the air gun on it instead of doing it manually and damaged the key. Of course I had no evidence and the person handling the claim just took the word from the manager at the shop. With my previous experience with that location, I just donât know how credible that was. You cannot prove anything with that claim process. Itâs completely useless except for telling customers that they have a claim process. These little things just show how poorly they manage this shop. Who knows what other things were done wrong and went unnoticed. I wish I saw bad reviews about this shop before, and hope this will be useful to...
Read moreTire center: I have yet to have a good experience at the tire center here. I have two main issues: I easily spend twice or more time here than anywhere else for similar service They did not own up to $385 of damage they caused to my car
More details: The most common problem I've had is how much time I waste even though I always have an appointment. (The difficulty of getting one is another matter) Dropping off? Wait 20 minutes in line. Picking up? Wait 20 minutes... (or longer) Maybe I'm just plagued with always picking a bad time to go in, but seems unlikely, especially when I always have an appointment. Work times are also considerably longer than other places I've done business with. My best case scenario when I've gotten a tire fixed was about an hour and a half. I've also waited almost 3 hours before.
They did not own up to their negligence and the damage they caused to my car. I had tires installed at this Costco on an Odyssey with 200k miles. When I got my tires rotated the first time, one of the lug nuts was stripped on a wheel stud and broke off. Any mechanic will tell you this is the fault of the person who last put the lug nuts on: they didn't take the time to thread it by hand initially and just forced it on with an impact wrench. Obvious negligence on Costco's part. I had to fill out a form about the damage (after waiting in line 20+ min...), then deal with a 3rd party with lots of back and forth conversations. They denied the claim because their excuse was they said wheel studs are supposed to be replaced at 100k miles as part of normal maintenance! That isn't in the manual and several mechanics I spoke to had never heard of that (including the Frisco Honda dealership). Costco's representative wouldn't budge. When I asked for documentation to prove what they were telling me, they blew me off. The only thing I can think of where they are getting the 100k mile number is that is when the wheel studs are out of warranty. By that logic, if they crashed my car into the wall they wouldn't pay for that either since the entire car is out of warranty. I had to get the wheel stud replaced for $385 - one of the cheapest quotes I found. Assuming it is negligible to replace the other studs on the same wheel, according to Costco, you are supposed to spend $1600 to have all your wheel studs replaced at 100k miles. Absurd I had to pay for Costco's negligence.
I'll never give Costco my tire business again, even for work that might entail using the warranty and...
