Don't bother with in-store pickup. Completely pointless.

Order placed at 3pm (same day pickup if ordered by 5pm) got an email at 10:50pm, 10 minutes before close that my order was ready but they didn't have the number of items I requested left, I needed 4 and picked this store out of my way because they had 4 in stock when I ordered. They only had 2 left by the time someone went and filled the order... 8 hours later.

I then went in the next morning at 10am after speaking to the manager that night who told me "look, we'll cancel your order and give you 70% off the two if you come in and pick them up in the morning, they'll be at the front behind the register" (I'd already had a 40% coupon)

So after standing in line for 15 minutes, I explained the situation and was told "oh, it was put here last night? Well it would have been put back on the floor by now... You can go see if it's still there I guess"

When I went back to find them, they were there... So I took then back up and asked for the 70% off again, where I was told "oh hey look, we found it, it was here, oh.... I guess we had 4, oh well"

I can't even begin to explain the pointlessness, ineptitude and frustrated involved with this entire 24 hour purchase. Don't bother using in store pickup AT ALL but especially as they're promoting it, as a safe way to get everything you need and want for Christmas without having to rush to get to the store before...

This review is about a very frustrating experience with the custom framing service at your Frisco, Texas location (order #4432975665). My husband brought in a priceless family photo in perfect condition. He paid a high price for a quality frame meant to last for generations. The service was a day late and unprofessional. He was forced to wait 30 minutes, only to get the frame with styrofoam still stuck inside.

When he got home, he discovered the worst: the photo was torn during the framing process and crudely glued to hide the damage. When he returned to the store, he read a text from the framing manager that said, "DO NOT give a refund. It was already damaged."

The store manager admitted that Michaels' policy is to contact a customer if a photo is damaged before framing, which proves the photo was delivered to you in perfect condition. We have a handwritten document from her as proof. Michaels not only damaged our irreplaceable item but also failed to act with honesty. We are not seeking a refund. We ask that Michaels prints a new photo and reframes it correctly, at no additional cost. We expect a swift...
