Great place to live. Very relaxed, miles of hike/ bike trails. I often sail my small sailboat on the big lake, and plenty of parks for the kids
Edit after being here for 6 years. We are now farther from owning our own HOA than when we moved in. New property was bought 8 miles away and added to our HOA and another 10 years of build outbwas added. The board of the hoa has a whopping 2 residents now as an appeasement to keep the residents from revolting. They now dont give access to the restriom facilities at the parks due to the ronas, and what ever other reason given. We pay dues for community events to be held, and yet only had 6 in person events last year, and multiple instances of the events listed being canceled with no notice. Maybe one day we will be able to control our own neighborhood, probably not, as the developer who owns the HOA board just changes the rules at a whim to suit...
Read moreFantastic neighborhood, everywhere you look it is green, the sky is blue and the landscaping is always kept 100% The main entrance has a lookout tour completed with photos of wildlife and the nature. You can explore the lookout at anytime between 10am & 5pm! Beside the lookout tour is a excellent local Italian restaurant! If that's not enough, there is a state of the art Fitness center open to all residents of Cross Creek! It's open most days from 5am to 10pm except Sundays! Beside the fitness center there is a giant pool for the residence, completed with a waterslide from the top of a observation hill overlooking a pond that backs many houses! The rest of the neighborhood has parks, tennis and basketball courts! There is even a Disk (frisbee) golf course going straight the the community! It is completed with walking/biking trails for everyone! Great community, great...
Read moreI moved to cross creek ranch back in March and found a house that has a view of a retention pond beind me with an open fence to enjoy the view of the water and was told by PERRY HOMES that this would not change. Now today I look at a mudd hole with mosquitoes so bad I can't even sit outside. Johnson development is pointing fingers at the mudd district and Perry Homes is pointing fingers at the developers. Im very disappointed because this is the reason I picked this house and moved here. All my neighbors on the street are not happy either because Perry Homes told them the same thing when they purchased there homes. I think johnson development knew this was happening but all they want is there money and they don't care about the...
