I have been here twice in the past week and thought the portions, quality and atmosphere here were great. My pictures are from my first AYCE dinner.
I saw some other reviews about slow service limiting the amount of food/small portions.... you can basically order as much as you want each time so this seems like personal error on their part. The only item they limit is 20 pieces of sashimi per order. As for drinking water quality, it's Fulshear tap water, not their fault really...
In my opinion, the only thing that needs work (desperately) is service. I understand they recently opened but waiters seem to have little experience, social skills and urgency.
My friend and I had lunch on 5/13 and the waiter showed up 5 mins after we sat down, took our drink orders. He returned, and we placed our lunch orders. 10 mins later he comes back asking if we had received any of our food, with a quick glance anyone could've seen that we had empty plates and a fully set table waiting to eat. He asked us if we wanted our soup/salad (that came with our meal) and we said of course... he brings them out, 5 mins later he comes back asking if we had eaten all our food yet? Again, we had a fully set table besides our soup/salad. We politely said no, and he hesitated then came back 5 mins later with our orders.
I think this is...
Read moreSome of the yummiest sushi / Japanese that I’ve had in a long time! A friend of mine ordered sushi from Yaki sushi twice in one week because she said it was so good, so we had to try it ! This past weekend, we brought my son for all you can eat sushi . Omg! So good, everything was delicious, fresh and brought out so quickly our waiter was very nice and agreeable he tried a bunch of different things and then on Sunday my husband and I were trying to kill some time to grab a quick lunch before our grocery order was ready so we decided to get lunch here again. We didn’t go for that all you can eat, but we had already tried so many things that we knew what a few of our favorites would be! The gyoza is freaking incredible. Probably the best I’ve had. Make your sushi rolls a perfect combination slightly sweet creamy and fresh and the Katsu chicken appetizer is delicious so good. My husband had the Ramen and said it was very delicious as well. We were both able to eat us generous lunch for $33. Pre tip and that was what two drinks! If you’re looking for somewhere to stop by to have lunch or dinner don’t pass on Yaki . We will definitely be going back. Our waitress for our second lunch was also super pleasant and service was super fast. If you’re on the fence about trying it, just do it. You...
Read moreIf you’re a sushi lover, Yaki Sushi AYCE is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and efficient. The atmosphere is clean, modern, and welcoming—perfect for a relaxed dining experience.
The All-You-Can-Eat menu is not only generous but also packed with quality. Everything is made fresh to order, and the presentation is consistently beautiful. The sushi rolls are creative and flavorful, with a great balance between classic favorites and inventive new options. Standouts included the spicy tuna, baked scallop rolls, and the fresh sashimi—each bite melted in our mouths.
What truly sets Yaki Sushi apart is the attention to freshness and detail. Unlike many AYCE spots that compromise on quality, here every dish tasted thoughtfully prepared. The variety is impressive—from appetizers like gyoza and tempura to delicious hand rolls and desserts.
Highly recommend this place for date nights, family dinners, or casual outings with friends. Come hungry and...
