It's an aging strip mall that has been largely abandoned. When the city put public housing behind it in an an already challenged neighborhood, it was a nail in the coffin of this spot. A police annex building, a church, a small radio station, and a smattering of struggling businesses fill only about half the lots - the others are empty shells of the failed businesses that died there. A Marvin's hardware store is all that's keeping the lights on at this point.
