It’s been over a year since I’ve just left a rating and not a review about this location. The exterior design of the Building in this location is interesting. Last year in early May I had some relatives staying over and their was a particular day where we all drove there to get a tailgate takeout order of ribs, roasted chicken, sides such as coleslaw, green beans or perhaps beans as well. Also including bread and corn bread. This was our first time trying this restaurant and the food we all ate was excellent. Then very close to the end of May I had an aunt that was visiting us and we decided to come eat inside this location. Once sat down upon looking into the menus we saw this location to be a decent place to eat lunch. We all decided to order the same plate of fried pork chops with sides. At seeing the pork chops it was a medium sized piece of meat, and the taste including the way they cooked it was very good.
But with the price we all paid in that meal we all said to ourselves that it was just not worth it. In the past year or more when Cracker Barrel used to have their Saturday lunch special, it was fried Pork chops with sides but you could never compare to Rib bones in the way they cooked their fried pork chops. However when it comes to quantity Cracker Barrel it had two pork chops not one with that price. Barbecue in itself is expensive, with the inclusion of every where else. In end if I had to eat rib bones again I would just get a tailgate...
Read moreThe food was good. I had the loaded BBQ potato and it was a large portion. We ate inside (they have a large drive thru business) and there was a definitive cleanliness problem. It was bad enough that I pointed it out to the gentleman working in the dining area. He made light of something nasty on the floor by saying "it's leveling out the table". In addition, the menu didn't have pricing listed by the meals. The BBQ potato was a deal at $6, but the same unmarked lunch menu charged me $14 for a BBQ plate for the wife: BBQ meat, 2 slices of bread, some so-so cole slaw and overly seasoned fries for $14. If the place would have been cleaner and the food prices well established, I would have rated this place at least a 4 but as it was it was...
