They cook really good Mediterranean food here. They season nicely their food. It should not disappoint anyone trying out this place. Yesterday I was with two other individuals with me. One of the individuals had the starter combo with falafel, hummus some salad and I guess baba ganoush separately, while I and someone else had the beef Kafka. Both were excellent, which you may not find any where else like that in Gadsden. However this restaurant doesnât have most of their menu items under $5, which maybe a downside for those who want something cheap.
Today I ordered a 10.99 cheeseburger and I may want to point out some things about the burger. The meat was in fact charbroiled but the meat may consider to be either a combination of beef and lamb. So donât expect to order a burger thatâs angus beef from this place and the size of the patty is maybe smaller than some fast foods. The bread of the burger is in fact bigger than the patty itself, however they do add a lot vegetable toppings with it which I find it to be very good. The fries are nicely seasoned crispy. I may want to warn that the fries are a bit pricey in this location. In conclusion I may want to point out that if anyone ordered a vegan burger in this location itâll be way better here than in BurgerKing or some other place with the size of the bread and toppings they give you.
Their baklava dessert is very good in comparison to some other restaurants I tried before. But they donât make the dessert themselves, it comes from a box which I...
Read moreUPDATE: 8 months ago it was really great, everything was fresh, the place was clean, the food was great...Now, not so much. It seems the standards of fresh food is no longer a priority, neither is the cleanliness of the shop. This reflects on their inspections as well. 8 months ago it was 97, about a month ago it was 73. This needs to be addressed, the food needs to be fresh again, before I will return. I hate this, because it used to be a favorite of mine, now not so much. I'm sorry. I had the chicken shawarma and the starter combo and I have to say it did not disappoint! The starter combo gives you a taste of the hummus, which was creamy, you can taste the hint of lemon and it was so flavorful! The falafel was just a little dry, but it was vegetarian and very tasty! The salad was very tasty and very fresh! The chicken shawarma sandwich was also very good! My daughters also really loved the sandwich. I will definitely will be a frequent customer! The prices are not bad either. Everything was so full of flavor, tasted very fresh, and I would highly recommend. The owner is great guy, very nice and goes out of his way for his...
Read moreMust go Eat there folks! My daughter stopped by to get food for my birthday. We're absolutely thrilled our area has middle Eastern food. We're Arabic so I'm going to compare the food to my great grandma and my grandma. We ordered dinner for two. Grape leaves were right up there with Grandma's they're tied Great flavor and texture We couldn't stop eating them ( yes we got a side order too). The lamb kabob was cooked to perfection. Not over cooked or under. They were tender , again cooked to perfection! As well as the beef and chicken kabobs. The rice đ is one of my favorite ( always have been). It was good as well. Hummus was awesome, right texture and taste. The whole pita đ« bread is very large and the cut bread are both good. Lastly the baklawah ( aka baklava in Greek). It was absolutely delicious đ right texture and just the right blend of the honey, and pistachios nuts. So I'll definitely be going back to eat more of the great food like Grandma's.
I do wish they served tabboli and kibbeh. However all the rest of the food...
