Follow up: When I went to visit the folks at Appliance Parts of Gadsden I had diagnosed an issue with my refrigerator utilizing Google and You Tube and went to purchase the part that I figured had gone out. The owner, told me that he felt like, based on his training and experience, the part I was requesting ($150) was probably not the issue I described and that before I put that much money into a 6 year old appliance I should first replace a different part ($20). I followed his advise and now, a month later, the refrigerator is still working like a champ. Went in thinking I had a defective dryer element for a dryer that is a good 20+ years old. They had the part in stock and the gentleman that helped me even knew the part number before confirming it on the computer. After purchasing the part he asked to make sure I had other parts and asked if I had the defective element with me which I did.
