Dollar General — Local services in Gainesville

I give the two stars only for the people working in there they are helpful and kind. On the other hand the isles are always a mess there’s usually at least two you can’t even get down, I download the coupons to my phone and when I get in the store I can’t find the digital coupons most of the time they’re not placed on the items and you can’t use your phone to search for them because you get no service in there . Lines are usually long and when we ask if they can open a second register we are told they don’t have a key. Ever since their new employees started, it's been a pleasure to watch the store turn into a clean site but it is still crowded and cluttered. That isn't what the problem is. There is one particular employee who just is awful at her job and needs to be fired and replaced. She makes it harder to get through the store and leave within a decent time frame. She will literally leave a line of customers waiting while she runs outside to do nothing and sometimes she even takes her break IN THE MIDDLE OF AN ENTIRE LINE of customers. The other employees I've seen frantically try to take her place when she does this abruptly. She also has said some very inappropriate things about customer's children and is rude. Her...

It's a smaller store so all of the isles are cramped but overall a decent store. There's no as big of a selection as the ones in surrounding towns but it usually has what I need. The music can be a little loud but because the speakers are placed above the makeup and across the store(they are not ceiling speakers.
