I have been to Lotus Massage (in the same plaza as David's BBQ on 39th Avenue) twice, and both times resulted in excellent, very thorough, very professional, and very enjoyable massages. My first massage was with Jessica; and my second with Leo. Both were very focused on what I wanted out of the massage. I prefer very hard pressure and both were able to keep up the pressure and pace for the entire massage. They also utilized the hot stones extremely well; and paid attention to all of the really important details that make massages go from good to great. Understanding how difficult this profession can be when you do it right first hand (having worked as a massage therapist myself many years ago); I have incredible respect for both Jessica and Leo; and hope that they both stay at Lotus Massage for some time to come. Worst massage experience ever. I ending up leaving before it started. Walked in and without being asked anything to do with what kind of massage I wanted or “needed “ I’m being asked to pay for services , directed into a room and the door shut behind me with no directions on what I’m suppose to do . This is something that I’ve never experienced with any other massage ever . Same lady walks back in and tells me to undress and I reply that my only issue is lower back pain and that’s all I want the focus to be . So I take off my shirt and lay on the table and then she points at my shoes . I decide that this is not going to work after I ask who my therapist will be and it’s the same lady . I asked for them to run a credit and left very disappointed and in pain . A very unprofessional unwelcoming...

Fantastic massage! I like for my back to be walked on and the therapist that walked on my back to the fantastic job how they first need away the muscle from the spine before walking. Then what's walking on my back? How they separate every individual vertebrae with their toes, applying pressure and popping by back in many places releasing a lot of pain and tension is amazing.

I have only been to this orchid spa twice and have enjoyed both one hour massage sessions due to the attention given to the trouble areas most specifically by back.

Yes, the therapists are Asian descent and there may be a little bit of a language. But the price is fair. They do not ask for a tip upon paying or before the massage. Clean professional....
