We were a party of three and the restaurant was mostly empty that should’ve been a hint. It seems like they were tremendously busy doing takeout orders and rolling silverware. The waitress in the service was horrendous that was probably what got us the most upset. We started with two appetizers that were brought to the table the crab Rangoon and the grilled beef rib She set the appetizers in the middle of the table provided no place to put anything on and we ate with our hands. She never refilled our drinks unless we flagged her down also even when she would finally bring a drink over she just kept refilling the same cup which means she was taking the cups were drinking from and pushing them against the soda fountain that she’s going to then place other peoples glasses against she didn’t clear a dirty dish unless she was asked even though there were three tables she was waiting on. I then told her our party of three was going to order some rolls to share and that we wanted to eat them before we ordered our main courses but she asked us to at least give our main course order to her and I said OK. The two appetizers were not bad tasting in all honesty but having to eat with our fingers and not having little plates to set our food on was subpar service at the least. As we’re waiting for our sushi rolls all of a sudden my daughter’s main dish comes out and she explains the waitress explains that sushi is taking a long time and I said well we really did want to eat cold food before we got the hot food. Do not order anything from the grilled section it was literally the most over cooked chicken that had zero seasoning of any kind. I asked what was in the side of vegetables and she had to explain to me that it was a sauté of broccoli onions bean sprouts so I added that it came out it was clearly barely cooked in a microwave it had zero salt edge zero seasoning zero any flavor whatsoever and then a big bowl of rice with zero flavor I literally ate nothing the average was about $35 per person and it was disgusting unfortunately the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed for the holidays so we ended up here in desperation do not be desperate look at this plate of uncooked vegetables that was their vegetable sauté . Yum Yum sauce taste like sweet poppyseed dressing. And the sushi rolls were doused in spicy mayo an extraordinary amount. This is a horrible horrible place to come do you not bother to come here there are plenty in the plaza that have better reviews it was not a pleasant atmosphere the waitress needs to be retrained. If you are too busy to take appropriate care of your customers maybe you should shut off your UberEats app and start focusing on the people that are sitting inside your restaurant do not waste your money and do not waste your time ruining your evening when you’re trying to take your family out to have a nice dinner yeah go somewhere else

This review is rated mainly on the food. The place was beautiful and the waitress was quick and attentive but due to the lack of taste in my food, I was unable to enjoy it and had spent a reasonable amount on a dish that just wasn't delicious. The wings were standard wings prepared in America. The sauce is delicious but the meat has no flavor underneath the sauce. The dish that I am so upset about is the roast duck and rice entree. The duck was very dry and hard and lack any flavor. There was not any flavor on the skin or on the meat. The white rice also didn't have any have flavor. The sauce that came with the entree was very delicious. But besides that, the was like eating wet card board. I was very disappointed. Bottomline: fast service, sophisticated, modern, great selection but the food just doesn't do it if u want beautiful presentation and delicious food.

I was underwhelmed to be honest. As always, the good first. The food tasted pretty good. I had the red curry soup with noodles and chicken($15), Mexican roll($6) and a Paradise roll($11). Don't judge, I was starving. Just the soup filled me which was great. I got to take home almost two full rolls of sushi as a midnight snack. Yum! Now to the not so good part. The staff was lacking. There was not enough and I could see them rushing and trying their best. I waited for fifteen minutes standing to be seated (Not exaggerating), my soup arrived without chicken, and the soup had a bunch of cilantro(which is not mentioned on the menu). I'm allergic to cilantro, so warning to anyone else who is. All in all, not too bad but they need to hire more staff and pay more attention to the order. I might be back for the sushi, that was really good.

Have to say, I’m very disappointed with my experience tonight. I’ve eaten here multiple times before and enjoyed it, but the service tonight was poor.

Our waiter started the meal seeming like he’d rather be anywhere but there. When asked if spring rolls had tofu in it, his terse response was, “I don’t know.” No effort was made to follow up this question.

Next, I asked if could I get a poke bowl w half rice/half salad. The immediate answer was a snarky “you can get rice OR salad.” I asked if he could ask about this. He reluctantly agreed. Without even an acknowledging my question when he returned, I ended up with salad—which was entirely iceberg lettuce in my $12 bowl. (Compare this with the far superior ingredients in, I can’t believe I’m saying this, an $8 Publix poke bowl)

Next, the server brings out the spring rolls we ordered and spilled about a quarter of the sauce on my pant leg. Again, no acknowledgement. Even as I grabbed a napkin to soak it up.

Finally, my wife, for health reasons, had asked that her salmon be cooked well-done. It comes out cooked on outside and basically raw inside. Their solution was to offer to cook us a well-done version. I asked to just have it removed from bill. We had two tired children and waiting 20 mins for them to cook what was originally ordered was ridiculous. They simply said they could not take it off bill. They did not even offer to comp it next time, or offer a gift card or something. Apparently the owner him/herself said us waiting for them to get to get the order right is the only option.

Perhaps the server is new. He did not, for instance, know the location of the poke bowls in the menu. (He thought they were in the sushi menu). But even if one is new, there’s no need for the rudeness and indifference.

Long story short, the food is okay for the price, but the service was terrible. I can understand a bad order, but the snarkiness, indifference, and lack of flexibility to address the restaurant’s error is where I draw the line. I only leave this detailed a review because I sincerely hope the management can address these problems with the staff. I wondered if perhaps I was being too critical, perhaps I’m a dreaded “Karen”, but as I looked across Google reviews, it seems many people have had bad experiences, especially regarding service.

Like I said, food is fair for the price. I’ll stick with any of the probably dozen or so pan-Asian restaurants in Gainesville...

A long review but to sum it up the customer service here is not good, their food comes out foul tasting/burnt, and they do not clean their dinnerware, do not come here I came here with a few friends to socialize after class and none of us had been here before. To start, one of my friends egg rolls came out dark brown and burnt to a crisp on the ends of all the rolls. We told our server and sent it back for fresh ones. The server apologized but didnt offer anything. The next batch were better with a medium brown color to them and slightly burnt on one of the 4 egg rolls. Next issue, they brought out 1 of our other friend's meal pretty quick. We figured the rest of our meals were to soon come out. We waited 15 minutes before the rest of us got our food. As the server was filling up our waters I noticed that the bottom of the pitcher has mold on it! Disgusting! The sushi rolls that one of my friends got was foul tasting so we told the server, sent it back for different ones. At this time all of us were finished with our meals so we decided it wasn't worth getting the replacement rolls she had asked for. They tried to charge my friend for the sushi rolls she ordered when she only ate 2 of them and never gave her her replacement rolls in time. We complained so the server told her it would be half price... still not fair for her having to pay half price when she only ate 2 sushi rolls! They then took off the sushi rolls and only charged her for the egg rolls. When I got home I noticed they charged me twice with 2 different charges. I called them and they accidentally charged me someone else's order and had to fix it... c'mon man, this place is a joke! I will NEVER come...
