I shot (2) fat doe. This was my first & ONLY TIME using Wild Country Game Processing! Field dressed & with the feet removed, they weighed 93, & 91 lbs! Both deer were clean heart shots, zero damaged meat! Today, I picked my deer up. I WAS SHOCKED to only receive a total combined from both deer: 35 lbs ground (no fat added) (4) packs of back straps that appeared to be halves) & only 13 TINY pack of round steaks (not even 1/2 steak per pack) TOTAL??? Both doe together only filled 1/2 of a 50 qt. Cooler!! (& no spec. Sheet / breakdown of weight or cuts
As an excellent point of reference, today, I picked up my other 2 deer from Hunter's Choice in Sanger, TX. These doe also weighed 93 & 91 lbs, (dressed & feet removed). WHAT A DIFFERENCE! these 2 deer yielded 34 lbs & 29 lbs of ground each (no fat added). 4 full size straps & 12 & 15 full size (12-15 inch oval), round steaks per deer. These 2 doe completely filled an entire 100 qt. Cooler! You work / hunt hard. Where you process your meat matters. CHOOSE WISELY!
LESS THAN 1/2 OF TOTAL YIELD FROM THE (2) FROM WILD COUNTRY, COMPARED TO THE (2) FROM HUNTER'S CHOICE!
SEE PHOTOS! (Gray cooler contains (2) doe from Wild Country, larger, tan cooler contains the 2 deer from Hunter's Choice!!)

Read moreIt has now been 6 weeks with no call that my venison is ready. On top of that the guy gave my dad a hard time for dropping off my sons deer to be processed for us (We live 40 min away, he lives 5min) My dad took his deer to Fischers and got his meat back 3 weeks ago. Makes me wonder what kind of quality of meat I’m getting after 6weeks. Is it even mine? Very frustrated at this point. Called today and the lady who answered just said “unforeseen problems” and could be a couple more weeks in a flat monotone didn’t care voice and that I could call back to talk to the owner later if I wanted to....
Read moreThis place use to be the best wild game processing around, but has gone way downhill since one of the owners left. The other owner started outsourcing processing to Nocona Meats and their quality control was dismal compared to wild county standards. Saw that same owner bring in a deer that field dressed at 32lbs…….surprised it still...
