I definitely DO NOT understand what people see in eating at this place, except to say that the poor unfortunate souls must have never tasted good food. I have traveled far and near, and have tasted all kinds of food, but this place really doesn't even deserve one star.....I got The Chicken Fried Steak, which was 1) UNseasoned. There was enough meat, but it just had NO flavor whatsoever. And, as if that was not bad enough,2) the breading had absolutely NO flavor, either. 3) I got the German Potato Salad which was sooooooooooo salty, I couldn't believe it. And, the so-called Jalapeno Balls were just huge, (burnt), WADS of what I believe to be fried bread crumbs with lots of Tabasco Sauce in them, so, I will NEVER go back there again. The pie however was o.k., but I sure have had MUCH better. I WASTED $14.++ on some slop that I couldn't even choke down.!...Never again will I go to this place, which, in all my travels, has to the THE worst so-called meal I have ever purchased!
The people working are were great, though.
IF you dare go there, just stop talking and just try to taste the food, and I believe you will see for yourself that there IS way too much salt, and the rest is just bland, bland, bland, except for the HOT balls that disn't have ANY flavor except the hot sauce.
I hate to say this about the place because I have no problem giving credit where credit is due but I really had a very bad experience with this food.
I believe the owner(s) should just really sit down and taste their own food so they will understand what I am...
Read moreIt all started on boys trip to Winstar Casino and Resort. After living the high life throwing hotel room parties, getting absolutely wasted, and gambling all of our money away we decided to head back home. On our way back home we decided to grab a nice bite to eat. My one friend, who will remained unnamed for personal reasons, was very fond of the place and said that the pizza was good. Well we have no idea what the pizza taste like but let me tell you. I got the cheeseburger, yes I know how original, but the burger itself was good. I added bacon and had no tomato. I ended up taking the lettuce off because I'm just not a fan of romaine lettuce, but that had no effect on my rating of the burger. Which a 3.9, it was not the best burger I have had but certainly not the worst. It was an above average burger. The fries were excellent 4.2, ofcourse I dipped it in ketchup. For the appetizers we ordered a small fried pickle dish, which was actually quite large. That dish was excellent as well 4.6. Now it's time to talk about the service. Excellent. There is no other way to say it. Our server was an absolute professional, she always kept up with our table, refilling drinks and making sure if we needing anything. 5 stars, no that's not even enough 10 stars. Our experience at this restaurant joint was absolutely amazing. Perfect place to go after throwing an absolute rager of a party and having an extreme hangover. 10/10 absolutely...
Read moreFor about a year, I came here for lunch but not at noon alone. It's pretty crowded at high noon. I'd stop in around 2 or 3 pm for a late lunch and often ordered a sandwich and a Coke. In fact, when I walked in, my server who I got to know new what I was going to order. I've also been here more recently during busy time with a friend. Our meals were always made to order and tasted wonderful. Great service. It does get very busy though so I don't think the extra few minutes it too go get to our table were unreasonable at all. We were treated like regulars! The stuffed baked potato is fabulous and they do not skimp with toppings. Grilled sandwiches, meat plates, etc, (I've had many items off the menu for years) have been satisfying. I've not been disappointed. The servings are plentiful and you may have to take some home. We were asked if we wanted to take our drinks with us. Service is wonderful, if I haven't already mentioned that. Oh, the prices reasonable. There is a drive through as well. I miss Dieter Brothers and I sure will be back next time I travel West.
Dieter's has been around for greater than 20 years. I think they opened in the late 90's. The restaurant is casual dining, rustic inside. There is a bar to sit at and tables on both sides. Excellent and plentiful parking out front with the gas station right next door. Great for...
