The dog we adopted was there because he didn't get along with livestock but they said he was great with all animals well that was a lie and it costed us almost $2,000 dollars because he killed 4 goats,some chickens,and ducks because I didn't get him tied b4 he went out so I signed him over that day but I wanted to get our dog we have had for 3 and a half years so after the dog warden left we headed to the pound to see our dogs for a few minutes and the husky was wet because they washed the blood from him but our other dog didn't have any on her and she hadn't been washed off and the ladies that work there we're very very rude Cynthia let one of them have it but I didn't say anything to therm the young man that's there is very nice and polite he let us go in the room where people play with dogs my opinion of there's a female at the counter don't say a word and walk right back out and say I'll be back when the other fellar is working...°°!!&&^#&"'hxhzgdffhtu'by d...

We could not be happier about the staff at the shelter. We saw a dog online and drove up from Raleigh to check him out and the staff went over the top to help. Conner and Sara not only answered all of our questions but brought up things we did not think of and were beyond patient. They are very caring people with hearts in the right place.

The dog we adopted had to be fixed as well as he had cherry eye and they worked with the Vet to have both taken care of so he was ready to go when we drove back up to get him.

The adoption fee was very cheap making it affordable for all.

Went here Sept 24th and saw 2 puppies I was interested in. 1st one was a chiwawa available Sept 27th first come first get... I asked to see her and was told no shes already going to a "rescue" up north..??? 2nd was a terrier available Sept 26th and was told first come first get again.. so I showed up there today at 1230 and there were volunteers who had given the terrier a bath and told me hes already adopted!! How could that be when they dont open till 1pm and I was half hour early?? I'm thinking this is " bs " and very wrong!! Some shenanigans going on here !! Thinking of...
