Once again a prefect place to build on family memories. It was great seeing all the new things added this year!! We loved walking around the walking path, listening to the music as we made our way to the Access home Healthcare sponsored community decorated Christmas trees. I loved seeing all the different trees! Access home Healthcare and all their participates did an amazing job!!! The new photo opps High country lights added was so much fun. I even enjoyed Jeff Johnson blue lite truck. We have came every weekend and have discovered something new. We found the blue ridge tree factory booth and even went to Fancy Gap to make our very own tree!

While visiting some friends in the area, we decided to see these well known historical light show. Did you know this is put together each year but one sole man? He actually started on a small scale on his property and it has grown to this beautiful entertainment! We missed the Duck Donut night, so we took kids for a cinnamon roll at Hardee's next door. We sat in the car and tuned our radio and enjoyed the show!

The kids love going to see these lights, and how the lights are synced with the music. You can get out of your vehicle and walk on the sidewalk all the way across in front of the display. There are specially set up photo-ops on either end of the display. This year, the Grinch was in the tunnel and there was a carriage ride available. I would recommend if you're anywhere near.

Loved it ! We walked around and took our pictures in the photo Pop ups ( there's several of them ) . We rode the carriage ride for $10.00 per person but it was worth it . They passed out free light up Santa Claus rings while we were on the carriage ride . We saw Santa Claus and Mrs Claus and had our pictures taken with them . They also had a free ride for kids a tractor was pulling little cars and adults could ride it with their kids if needed . And they had several food trucks each one selling different kinds of foods and drinks . And the lights !!! 😃 Sooooo very pretty you could see them walking around outside , riding on the carriage and inside your car with your car radio tuned to a certain radio station where the music goes in time with the lights . It was free to go the only thing that cost money was the carriage ride and food and drinks if you wanted them . So glad I got to go . It was packed when we went and I can see why . I hope to go again next year ! 😁 Thanks to everyone for all the hard work and making it free and so very nice . Highly...

I would like to express my appreciation to Mr. Bottomley for his generosity and making it possible for so many people to enjoy such an amazing experience with the lights and music of Christmas! What a blessing to the folks of Carroll and Grayson county! I would like to encourage those who can afford to give to do so in the "tip" container provided. I would love to see additional speakers placed around the area so you can hear the music outside of cars and when using the track. It is quite a treat to run or walk this time of year there. I personally have several small grandchildren with lots of energy who would love walking around the track, and being able to hear the music, and experience the lights moving. Perhaps if we all contribute, we could make this happen for next year. We can never thank Galax Parks and Recreation for all they do for our community. What an amazing outreach they have for young and old. Many thanks to Mr Bottomley and Galax Parks and Recreation for making Christmas extra special...
