Dairy Bar — Restaurant in Galax

Not as good as if used to be. Hamburgers aren't as good, and they need to do something about the little black burnt crumbs on the fries. Like maybe strain the oil every night, between oil changes.

Ate there today. I ordered a hotdog basket with no chili. The Hotdogs had chili on them. Also note the tiny French fries. That is so bad. My husband ordered a hand-dipped chocolate milkshake, and tasted like they put soured milk in it. We threw away the shake and the fries.☹ This used to be a good hamburger shack! NOT...

The fish sandwiches and fries that we received instead of our flounder plates of which we ordered was good, the French fries wasn't properly cooked ( they were almost raw). However the peanut butter milk shakes we're terrific! Bill was $15 and change, gave the waitress $21.00 and drove away home only to find out what we ordered and what we received was totally different. But, it was my fault for not checking my order before I left. Our orders for years was always so...

Hidden Gem! The Dairy Bar had plenty of room for our group of 11 to eat inside. The service was top notch, prepared our food super fast and continued to make sure our drinks were topped off and anything else we might have needed. The food was delicious, we ordered a variety of grilled chickens, burgers, fried chickens and more. Then to top it all off was the milkshakes and ice cream. Yummy, they were delicious. We will definitely be returning next year for...
