Harding's Market — Local services in Galesburg

Some of the younger employees are very rude and disrespectful especially to the elderly that shop there. They talk about other employees in front of customers. I have been shopping here for awhile and it seems to me that the management either doesn't care or doesn't want to do anything about it. My mother and I was checking out when we overheard the male cashier say some pretty derogatory things about a female employee. My mother then asked the cashier if they always talk about other employees in front of customers and the answer was yes. She then proceeded to tell the cashier how rude that was, especially when there was a line of people waiting to get checked out. The cashier proceeded to get very rude with my mother. She then told him she was going to call the store manager and make a complaint. He in turn told her to go ahead because nothing will get done...

Everytime I go into this store I have to ask myself what is going on at the registers? Today there were 3 workers at my registers bagging area. They were holding a personal conversation, but at least it wasn’t as cringey as the flirting I’ve witnessed there on previous visits. As my 4 bags of groceries and 1 heavy cat litter were bagged, the one chatter started to take my cart away. As an after thought he then offered to help me with the groceries. It was so awkward I declined. There should be one bagger per lane who automatically helps you out no questions asked. I just don’t understand why the owner is paying so many people to do so little. This is why I only use this store in a pinch and I always leave there with negative feelings. So...

I swear to god I can never walk into this store and get what I need. Over priced and they never have anything in stock! I am LIVID tonight. I went to go get milk. I worked a 10 hour day and all I wanted was a gallon of milk. I had to drive 20min away instead to Aldi to get milk cause Hardings had NONE. ZERO. NADA. How fricken hard is it to stick milk! Honest to God, I would put money on Dollar general having more of the groceries I need in stock than this place! It's ridiculous. Also don't get me started on "shop local." Local my butt. They are still corporate owned, it's all spartan Nash and it's all GARBAGE. Last time I went their for limes. Guess what? They were all moldy. I went to DG and found some. This place is garbage. Go...
