This place has a good, wide selection of Native American arts and crafts without being way too overpriced. The same can be found at another Ortega shop attached to El Rancho Hotel, a little east from this location, but the prices here are less expensive. You may not find that many photos of this establishment on the internet, as the Native American proprietors do not like their picture taken. All in all, the selection of arts and crafts here is deep - from a wide variety and selection of kachina dolls to very well-made lamps. I will be going there again for Native American and New Mexican curios....

The ladies in Ortegas were wonderful, friendly but not pushy and very patiently showed me lots of jewelry. I purchased several pieces plus a blanket and a piece of pottery which they shipped for me.
