Driving across Maine, I stopped for lunch and found this lovely shop filled with handmade items. I am a professional artist and art educator so I recognize creative and well crafted items when I see them.

The person working behind the counter was friendly and helpful. [She might have been the owner?]. I asked about the town of Gardiner and what its claim to fame was, since I had just stumbled upon it. We had a great chat while I wandered around looking at everything.
