Gillman Home Center — Local services in Gas City

Unfortunately Gillman doesn’t back the products they sell, or care enough to try and make things right. Over the last two years I have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on building materials here that have been defective, or ordered incorrectly by their team. One item are the doors for my new construction. At a price of $5000 a door you expect quality, and if nothing else the backing of quality brand name product that you carry. Neither are the case here. All of my doors failed catastrophically prior to moving in. After reaching out they sent out door frames for a handful of doors for me to replace at my cost of thousands of dollars. They refused to take it up with the manufacturer. Additionally they ordered the wrong windows, which required tempered glass. Again they only discovered this after I already had them installed. They provided new windows and now I’m stuck with the $3k bill of renting a lift and having them installed. Throughout the process their inside sales rep, sales manager and owner haven’t shown any interest in taking a look at my issues to see the manufacturers fault in engineering leading to the door issues. Not once has Curtis or Ron cared enough to come look for themselves. Instead they dropped the manufacture and basically told me to kick rocks. I won’t be shopping here anymore. Went in for some chain, leaf blower, and hedge trimmer. Every single employee was so friendly and helpful! Frank helped me with the leaf blower and trimmer and he was SO helpful! I wasn't sure what I wanted when I went in and I was going to pick out a standard leaf blower but frank started asking me questions about my property and what all I would be using it for. He was so friendly and definitely was not being pushy or forceful. I could tell he was giving me his honest opinions based off of his own experience and I am so glad he was there. I ended up getting a backpack style leaf blower with more power and I am so happy with it. I just used it for the first time and it is perfect for what I'm using it for. I probably would have been out there twice as long working if I would have just bought the one I was originally thinking about. He also kept telling me how I can always come back and talk to him if I ever have any issues or questions. He also helped me pick out my hedge trimmer.
