I've passed this place at least a hundred times and have always meant to stop. I finally had a chance to do so on a Saturday. I don't know if that was the reason for low stock, or if it was the recent shortages, but there wasn't a lot here. Smaller retail area than I expected. Some prices were much higher than the grocery store. A few items were good (some fish, sausage, pork loin), but others would be better purchased elsewhere. They had a small section of non-mear items, but again, you can do better elsewhere (and that is obviously a small volume issue). Staff were not the friendliest but were quick at checkout. Unassuming and industrial on the outside, and inside it's paradise for the budget- and quality-minded buyer!
I picked up a GORGEOUS beef tenderloin for about $90 and turned it into almost two weeks' worth of restaurant-level filet mignon, tournedos, beef tips, and stew meat.
Also got a London Broil that turned out amazing after 12 hours in a slow cooker. Plus, eight nights' worth of fresh chicken tenderloins for $15. You simply can't get this kind of pricing at the grocery store!
If you're willing to roll up your sleeves and process your own meat, this place is a gold mine. The people were extremely friendly and welcoming, and I plan on being a regular there...

The people who work there are very friendly and they actually let you shop without looking at you all strange. In and out shopping experience.
