CVS Pharmacy — Local services in Gastonia

Pharmacy people working there just horrible. For me and my wife the pharmacy techs and people working there really do not know what they are doing. I went to used my health insurance card and they would not accept it. Called my health insurance and listed this CVS as one of its providers.. My wife had 11 presciptions called in. When she first got there they said they have none. They told her her insurance was no good. She provided the new card and then said " oh we do have some for you" " can you come back in an hour." So after an hour only 3 of 11 ready. "can you come back tomorrow?" Next day 3 more and the rest they didn't have and should go elsewhere?? I recommend going elsewhere from the start. They trully don't care about what they are doing. I went to get oral surgery and wanted my pharmacy Name. They are less than block away from this CVS. My response was you pick one . Any other pharmacy...

I only use this location because CVS Caremark manages my prescription benefits but I'm going to stop using them. Every time I try to use a co-pay assistance card, I am made to feel as though I'm inconveniencing them and I always have to come back. The one time, when insurance wouldn't cover my pain meds following surgery, they refused to try a Good Rx card because they said it would not get any cheaper, not too mention it took them 2 days to fill my prescription. When I insisted on using the Good Rx card, voila! The price suddenly went down on my prescription. Why should I be made to feel ashamed for trying to save money on my prescriptions, especially during these difficult times with inflation and insurance being difficult. If possible, I suggest using another pharmacy. Everything else I get is mail order so I don't have to deal with the BS...

This is one of the better "chain" pharmacies around! I transferred my prescriptions from the Walgreens down the street from this CVS (the one on the corner of Cox Rd & Franklin Blvd) because I hated having to deal with that Walgreens between trying to turn into the parking lot with traffic (I'm coming from Ozark Blvd direction so there's no turn-in & I have to make a left at the light & then make a U-turn on Franklin), them never having the prescription ready on time or whatever else. This CVS almost always has my prescription ready on time & quickly and, when the store is kinda busy, it's still quick to get through the line & check out. 10 out of 10 prefer this CVS to...
