🔹🔺STORE HOURS:🔺🔹 This store is not open until 1am every night even though that's the listed hours (I'm trying to get whoever runs this to change them). 🔸It closes at midnight Sunday through Thursday and closes at 1am on Friday & Saturday. The hours aren't updated online leading a lot of people to get frustrated because they place orders only to have them cancelled because it's closed. It's not the cashier, the lead or the guys making your food's fault, they can't change the hours on the website or they would. There are nights where the store gets busier than usual and sells out so it has to close up early, it happens. 🫶🏻
It's also a pretty small, skeleton crew most nights of the week. It's usually one person up front to handle the 3 phones ringing, the register to cash out customers and give their food out; one person on the "make table" making every order that comes in alone and one person on the "cut table" to get the food out of the oven, cut and box it up and take care of the wings. They're all doing multiple jobs each & this store stays kinda busy especially with the other 2 pizza hut stores in Gastonia not always being open, it's not CONSTANTLY booming but there's few quiet moments to catch up on things so, if you're ordering during the peak dinner hours and your food takes 10 minutes longer than projected, give a little grace, they're stretched thin.
During peak busy hours, especially on weekends, just expect a 30-45 minute wait between the multitude of orders and the multiple big orders (6 or more pizzas). There's one oven that can only fit so many pizzas at once & one person who can only make one at a time. There's one fryer with 4 baskets, so if multiple orders have wings (and almost every order has wings, especially on weekends), you can only have 4 orders going at a time. Try to keep in mind that 3-4 people can only do so much at once without messing up your order because they're trying to rush and that we're all human and nobody is ever perfect all the time 🙂
This store tries to always do their best to make everyone happy and make everything right when things don't go as planned but there's only so much they can control and they can do. 💜 *Also, this store doesn't have a drive through, that would be the store on Chester Street, so somebody here has reviewed the...
Read moreThis Pizza Hut is really Delicious. They did have a Pizza called the Edge that was worth the money you paid for it The crust was thin and Crispy the topping were plentiful and the Service was nice too.. How ever even tho your taste buds are watering thinking about all those Delicious tomatoes and black olives and the other 6 toppings of your choice it's been discontinued. That's really Sad. It was Soo healthy it wasn't thick Crust in a Crunchy Deep Dish pan but instead a very healthy tasting shot at a homemade really good Bruschetta. Oh my my it was called the Edge for a reason.Everything went to the of the crust and stayed there unless you just couldn't stand it and you took a bite or a Slice on the way home because you were so hungry just smelling it. I hope they bring it back because if the market didn't like that pizza they were allergic to tomatoes or had a Senior moment about what they just ate . I'm going to continue to get there personal pans because they are really Delicious also and I just wished they had those in that same crust and same toppings for the...
Read moreMy husband and I had a very disappointing experience with the Pizza Hut on Ozark in Gastonia on Tuesday night, 7/22/25. We called to order the $2 personal pan pizzas that are advertised on Tuesdays, but the man who answered the phone repeatedly insisted we couldn’t order pan pizzas and tried to push us into buying a medium or large pizza instead. It felt like a deliberate attempt to upsell us against our wishes, and he even pretended not to understand what we were asking for.
It’s extremely frustrating to be misled by an employee who seems more focused on manipulating the sale than honoring the advertised deal. We ended up calling the Pizza Hut on New Hope Road instead and received exactly what we wanted no confusion, no hassle.
If you’re in Gastonia and want honest, respectful service, I highly recommend avoiding the Ozark location. This kind of behavior is a poor reflection of the...
