Shoe Dept. — Local services in Gatesville

I am a last minute kind of person. I have a formal event coming up in a week and needed shoes. Instead of checking online if they had the shoe i needed/wanted in my size in store, i walked in and asked if they have it in my size. The lady (sorry i can't remember her name) told me they did not, but she would call the store in Killeen and see if they have it in stock. They did. Lucky me! but now on to figuring out when i would find the time to run to Killeen. She asked me, if i was in Gatesville tomorrow, if so, she could meet up with the Killeen Store clerk (AFTER WORK) and and have her give her the shoe i wanted so bad. Are you serious? This is going above and beyond for your customers! I am very happy to report, i am now the proud owner of the sparkly high heels i wanted so bad.

Employees that work inside are nice enough. They do have a good selection of name brand shoes that Walmart does not carry. However unlike Wal-Mart, they really don't have a return policy and everything that walks out the door are virtually considered non-returnable / non-refundable. And by virtually I mean that their return policy states that the shoes really cannot be worn in any meaningful way (they said that it cannot make contact with concrete) or else they are considered non-returnable. which virtually means the shoes can be worn at all without voiding their return policy. So hold on to your receipts and the original box for at least 6 months after purchasing, because your only option is going to be...

They have a wide variety of name brand sneakers. They do have dress shoes, but I'm more of a sneaker guy.

The lady tried was helpful the last time I went. This is not always the case at this store, I haven't been for a while, so I don't know if the helpfulness is a new thing or if it was just her.

The prices are pretty good and with sales, the prices become great.
