Ely's Mill — Local services in Gatlinburg

I picked this place to get married at based on reviews. I live in Florida but I wanted a cold winter Christmas wedding. I went through Gatlinburg Elopements to set it all up. I got married on December 27, 2023. It had snowed the night before so there was a lot of snow still on the ground. It was the most magical and beautiful experience of my life. Truly magical! The owners of Ely's Mill had heaters set up inside the veranda because it was freezing. They also had their store open for me and my party to go inside to warm up as well. They had the area where I was getting married roped off so no strangers could crash the wedding. See pictures below. I cannot recommend this place enough if you want to get married here. Absolutely the best experience of my life....

Wonderful well kept secret! My first visit was the weekend before the fires in 2016 and the angels definitely had this sweet place under their wings! We have now returned several times to buy more of the handmade lotions and soaps, several woven items and pottery. We love Ely’s Mill and have now stayed two different times in both of the cabins. Ruth is very knowledgeable of the area and is a direct descendant of the original owner. Loved our private tour of the mill and property. Both of our stays in the cabins were comfortable with homemade treats and coffee and tea supplied. We are looking forward to our next stay in May! ...

Eloping or having a small wedding? Do it here!! I had my small wedding of 13 people here and magical doesn’t even begin to describe how beautiful this place was! The patio is covered with heaters, lights and fans for the summer time. Directly behind it is a flowing creek. Ruth, the owner, was so easy and friendly to work with. We rented a cabin on the property and easily walked 20 feet to my wedding, which made everything so convenient.
