Updated Review My dog broke his leg. Initially, I thought this clinic cared about my dog, but I soon realized that their primary concern was money. The doctors were adamant about amputating my dog's leg, hoping to profit a quick $3k. It was disheartening to see that nobody in the office could align his leg properly to heal naturally or perform the surgery he truly needed. Despite my insistence that amputation was not an option, they continued to pressure me, which made me very uncomfortable. I refused to leave my dog there, especially when they insisted on keeping him for a late appointment. Other clinics offered similar advice, seeming to prioritize their financial gain over my dog's well-being. However, I remained steadfast in advocating for my dog. With God's guidance, we found a wonderful surgeon who fixed Echo’s leg for only slightly more than Valley Medical would have charged to amputate. We are immensely thankful for the blessings that led us to the right care. Our faith in God remains strong, affirming that He can achieve the impossible, even when faced with daunting circumstances.
Echo is running on all 4 legs and he is happy. These doctors told me that his leg was no good and that I should amputate it asap. Please, advocate for your fur babies, and don't take these doctors' word because they don't care about these animals anymore. It's all about profits which breaks my heart.

Old Review We weren’t welcomed when we arrived. The front desk staff was not friendly at all, especially for a first visit. However, the technician and the doctor were incredibly supportive and accommodating. They treated our pets with kindness and made us feel comfortable. If it weren’t for their compassion, this would have been our first and last visit. These two explained things so well that we are willing to try them again, depending on how our pet feels tomorrow. Read moreI do not recommend this vet at all my dog went here for her spay and had nothing but complications this was the first time i've ever not taken my dog to a low cost spay/neuter clinic and I was highly disappointed it cost significantly more and my poor pup was so miserable. Not only did she seem to be in significantly more pain than any of my past puppies but every time she sat down she leaked blooded. So much so that it would create a small puddle and when we called the office because we were concerned they simply told us that this "just happens" sometimes when dogs get spayed. Which to me if that was the case why wasn't it be mentioned as something to look out for when we took her home from the vet. Now this incident happened several years ago now and I was willing to look past this and the other negative experiences I had at this vet office, but about a month ago I received a call asking when I was bringing in my dog for her next annual check up. I told the lady on the phone that I had not been in for several years because I found a new vet and I only updated them on her vaccines in the past just in case I needed access to them but that I would not be doing that anymore now that I have my new vet she said ok sounds good. Today I received a notice in the mail saying that my dog had been reported to the county for out of date rabies. Thanks a lot valley I super appreciate you doing that now I have to contact the animal control to tell them they have false information so I dont receive a stupid fine. All in all the service here sucks both from the doctors and the reception, they breed discriminate and apparently when you tell them you no longer want to use their services they get passive aggressive and report you to the county...
Read moreWe've had the pleasure to work with Dr. Christakos and Dr. Frain for many years, seeing both our our dogs through the very end of their lives. Our very large yet delicate and sensitive lab was able to live for many years (13) due to excellent veterinary care. Up to the very end, Dr. Christakos provided council, advice, sound medical recommendations, and was supportive and compassionate when we had to finally decide it was time to say goodbye. With our second dog, Dr. Frain was called upon when he had a fluke medical issue, and she happened to be the attending vet. She stuck with us for over 2 years, helping to treat and resolve a unique kidney issue. Because of her thorough care and teamwork at Valley, we were able to enjoy 2 amazing additional years with our Geronimo. After recovery, and due to a separate and very aggressive medical issue, Geronimo again fell ill fast and furiously. When we looked into his medical needs with the Valley team, they were thorough, professional, and demonstrated teamwork yet again. Dr. Christakos walked our family through his diagnosis, prognosis, and end of life plan with professionalism and again, compassion. We couldn't ask for better care or teamwork, and when it is time to add another furry friend to our family, we will absolutely be returning to Valley Animal Hospital. It is with much gratitude that I write this post. We highly recommend the care that VAH will provide you...
