I am very disappointed with the way I was treated when I came in to sell some of my mothers jewelry. I was told that this company is a Christian owned and run company I have even had work done here in the past. I do not plan on ever doing business here again. Here is what happened today. I came in to the store with my mothers jewelry to sell. I have very little experience in the area so I was going to get offers from 4 businesses and work with the one that was the most honest and fair in there offer and treatment of me. They first thing that the sales person attempted to do was take the Jewelry to the back out of my sight. I have been told by many people not to ever allow that because diamonds can be harvested and replaced with lesser ones. So I politely asked for the appraisal of the jewelry to be done under my supervision. The gentleman came out to look at the items I brought in and wanted me to sell them to him today and not get offers any where else. I told him I had to discuss any offer with my mom prior to selling the items. He then became rude and made a low offer on one piece and told me he would not give me any offers because I would be wasting his time. I am sorry but I would be a fool to trust one mans opinion when I am an uneducated seller. I need to collect all the facts first and then do business with the most honest person . It is my opinion that this company is not honest in the way that they purchase Gold and Diamonds and I recommend you go else where if you need to sell. My husband purchased a ring for me for Christmas this year. The first day I had it, one of the stones fell out. My husband called Wade's and they happily fixed it. Again, two weeks later, same thing, stone fell out. This time they ordered me a whole new ring. Then yesterday the stone fell out again. I was very upset and felt that there is no reason this should have happened once let alone three times. When I went into speak with someone, they were extremely friendly and happy to help me. They helped me pick out a new ring and even offered to put different stones in it than the way it came. Haven't gotten my new ring yet, but will definitely do business with them...

I can't tell you how much I love this place. We were shopping for a new engagement ring and wedding band after a vacation theft left us heartbroken. We came in and were treated like family. Trying replace something with high sentimental value is hard. The fine people a Wade's were understanding and so very helpful! The work is done in house and not sent off leaving you wondering what you are actually getting. The experience has made us lifelong customers. I can't imagine going anywhere else to buy jewelry.
