Shoppa's Farm Supply — Local services in Giddings

Arrived on 10-7-24 @ 10:56am for a delivery of petroleum products from Houston, TX. Parked out on middle median area between each double divided lanes. This facility is close to in town hustle bustle so be prepared and bring your patience. I came in from US 77 north and made right turn onto US 290(E Austin St)east to facility and eventually made left turn into 2nd driveway on west side of building. Fellows in parts department seemed busy and a short wait was a chance to get all doors opened and straps undone. In a little while had someone show up and he got a forklift and pallet jack and we unloaded right there off tailgate. I did not get a name but he was very professional and careful . It was greatly appreciated. Possibility able to overnight along that side street if making an AM delivery. As for a bathroom, there were all kinds of fast food places nearby and Sonic across street. I suppose could ask any of the parts dept. fellows and they could direct you. I was not offered a bathroom but did not need. Thank you Shoppa’s Giddings, TX for the quick turnaround just the same. If you wish to do business with a company that has no respect for your time or money use them. If you value your time and money run from this store. Poor communication and poor service. I own a couple of businesses now retired. They act like they don't care about the customer. Guess John Deere has so much business they can be this way. I thought it was a good brand wanted to support American jobs. Don't use them read some of my reviews. I don't rate places poorly on a whim. You have to earn that rating. This place...

Just left my 84 year old grand dads farm. He just bought a brand new bailer from you all and went to use it and it’s missing the part that ensures your bails are straight. Apparently His requests to correct the issue have been denied. I don’t know all of the details, but I do know that he has purchased 1000s and 1000s of dollars of equipment from you all and that he is 84!!! Seems a little customer service should be in order.
