I'd like to update my review given the fact that I have now HAD my car for several months now. On June 25th I experienced an issue with my vehicle I called the number to the company that provided claims assistance. My vehicle was not driveable and I needed emergency help. I am a disabled mother. I was told to contact the financing department because there were alot of errors and confusion regarding my warranty. The representative told me to contact the financing department and speak with Bernardo and ask him if there was an error with inputting my vehicles warranty. I called Bernardo and explained to him my situation with the warranty as well as the issue I was experiencing. Bernardo was very rude and very argumentative. I literally called the dealership I bought my car from because there was an issue with my warranty. Bernardo couldn't understand that and was unwilling to help. I spoke with salesman that sold me the car and Don's response was that's an insurance issue!! I was literally devastated I called three other Chevy dealership's that were very close to my home and they all were unable to help. I called a mechanic shop to try and get help with the problem I was experiencing and they recommended me taking it to the Chevy dealership. Seriously everyone was unwilling/unable to help. I called Bernardo back crying because I ran out of options. Bernardo told me to give him till Monday to see what he could do to help me. We all know that week rained so hard and so much. I could not wait till Monday. I ended up being so desperate to try and save my investment I had to throw a tarp over it, sit inside and keep pushing the water that was pooling on top of the tarp. Again I am disabled and during this time I was preparing for another surgery. I having no options but to take matters into my own hands. I ended up solving problem myself but injured myself horribly in the process. I went in person Monday the day Bernardo claimed he was going to call me back with some possible help. He never called. Once I arrived he was disrespectful and uncooperative. Bernardo seriously cannot understand that if there were no errors on my CPO vehicles warranty this whole situation could have been avoided. Instead I had to wait four days and still got no help. Instead he gave me a handful of options and all of them are (Considered CPO ) which was ridiculous cause they were all in not the best condition. I even told him I wanted to go Brand New at this point. Bernardo told me he couldn't help me if I didn't take any of these offers. Help was far from what he gave. I having a surgery coming up had chose what I thought was the best option from what he was offering me. I referred my family here and I feel bad now because I hope they don't have the same experience. I will not recommend this Chevy location!! They were super nice and friendly to take my money but a jerk to fix an error they had made. Bernardo blamed everyone else for this mistake I couldn't even get an apology. Instead I had to defend myself like if I was some type of criminal trying to scam them. If you already purchased a vehicle there I would double check my warranty is actually valid in case you need to use it when there's an emergency!! I lost my 2018 Equinox...

I was not sure I was going to buy with the prices of cars these days, but I have a car that it was time for an upgrade. I did shop around, but as always Sunrise Chevy came out on top and went above and beyond. Due to my situation I was doing most of the buying process via phone and email as I was unable to get to the dealer. Rick Mackintosh worked miracles with financing and went above and beyond to help and he made me feel like a valued customer and not just a number as you may feel at most dealers. Daniel Schomer the manager of the dealer was also very helpful in making this deal happen and I could not be more grateful then I am. Javier Guzman was brought in to help with my deal and he was responsive and on top of his game. Leading into this deal I was also in contact with Luciana Garcia advising on what I was looking for and was not sure that I was going to even bother making a deal or trying as I didn't think it would not happen. He assured me when I was ready to reach out and the that I would be given the best deal and he was right. Sunrise is a top notch dealer and I would highly recommend them as they make what seems impossible possible and I am in love with my 2023 Blazer RS and when I was there picking up the vehicle I was greeted by everyone I came into contact with it at the dealer and was congratulated on my purchase and this dealer makes me feel like family and important each and every time I am there no matter if I am there to get car serviced, or to make a purchase they all go out of the way to greet me and always ask how I am doing and give a 110% all the time, not just when I am there to make a purchase and at no time was I ever pressured to do a purchase. With this level of service I would not hesitate to every purchase a car any where else. * I wanted to add one more thing to review as Richie Drzewicki was able to assist me something I needed for car and he was quick and responsive and he has always been awesome at customer service as I did buy my first car from him years backā¦
My husband and I recently purchased a car from Sunrise Chevrolet, and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Our salesman, Dan Ditusa, initially seemed helpful, but the entire experience quickly turned sour.
While finalizing pricing, they used outdated, insulting sales tacticsālike pretending someone else was interested in the car to pressure usāsomething I found very off-putting. Despite that, we decided to proceed because we liked the car.
As soon as we left, we discovered the FM radio didnāt work (Sirius and AM did). I immediately called Dan first thing Monday morning. He said heād speak to his manager and call me backābut never did. I had to call back hours later and was then told to bring the car in. Once there, Dan briefly looked at it before sending out the assistant manager, Jose, who didnāt even check the issue and simply told me it wasnāt considered a āmechanical problemā and they could only provide a repair estimate. This was never communicated to me before, and when I explained that we were told the sound system worked, I was asked if I had āspecificallyā verified thatāan insulting response.
Eventually, the antenna was replaced, but the entire process took two days, and the lack of communication was appalling. I constantly had to follow up for updatesāDan didnāt call, just sent a vague email.
This experience felt like a game of telephone, with no ownership or accountability from their team. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and disrespectful handling of the situation left a very bad impression. I will not be returning and cannot recommend buying a car from...
