I went to get my barely 2 week old refilled acrylic nails removed because I lost two nails and wanted to take a break cuz my nails finally grew

The technician didn’t ask if I wanted to keep my nails or anything jus went right ahead yanking them off ruin my nails 😡😡😡and what buffoon me is that she hurt me literally rip off a concern of my nails I said ouch couple time and pulled my hand way that’s should have been enough of a RED FLAG BUT NO SHE JUST KEPT ON PULLING THEM AWAY … and no sorry jus chuckle and said ohhh it’s very hard ….she literally rushed the process like I was hindering her from something when all I ask was to get my nails done 🥺🥺🥺

I will never be back. My normal place was closed for vacation, so I go online to find the “best nail salons in my area.” I saw many wonderful reviews about this place so I decided to give it a try. Big mistake. The older gentleman that did my nails evidently has not had much experience. I had to pull my hands away several times because he kept hurting me. He glued the tips to my skin on several nails and when I went to and then went to try to file the sides of the nail and cut my skin. He was very rough on a few cuticles, I know sometimes there’s discomfort on the cuticle but nothing like this today. I have been getting SNS for years and never had this bad of an experience.

Then there’s the shape. Several of my nails have a fan shape which I told him I did not want. I said I want a squoval/rounded square. I was unhappy with the shape from the jump and I kept telling him I didn’t like it and he kept trying to fix it but never did get all of them looking uniform. I had an okay experience until it was time to paint my nails and when I felt like they were trying to nickel and dime me. When I picked my color she said no this will look better. So I just went with it she’s the pro. I also asked how much for A fill with gel polish she said $25 they said to add chrome on 2 nails was $15. So I said I’ll just get gel with 2 diamonds. Not once did she say how much the diamonds were. When I Went to pay and she said $40 it didn’t occcur to me until I was going to add the tip - I asked how I got charged an extra $15 she said $5 for the diamonds $5 for the shape (got coffin shape) and $5 for tip. Excuse me how are you going to put your own tip in there and charge for shape? You have to shape them anyways. I’ve never been somewhere that does that. I probably will never go there again. You can tell she just made it up because she charged my card already and hoped I wouldn’t notice. Part of this is my fault I should have asked before.
