Capital Sportsplex — Local services in Glenn Dale

I had reserved one of the fields to play a flag football game with some of my buddies on a Saturday. I arrived to the venue 30 mins prior to the reservation time and found out that they had completely lost my reservation! I asked if they could allow me to just use one of the empty fields at the time (they had a couple games going on) and they responded that they couldn't due to the fact they didn't know if they were already reserved for another league game - there were no records of any of the league games in their system for the day. Only the manager had everything printed on a piece of paper which he was carrying. I sat and waited for 45 mins, during which time the manager never took the time to speak to me about my inconveniences. I do commend the rest of the staff for at least attempting to work with me however this place clearly has some very poor operating practices and if you are interested in renting one of the fields I would highly recommend you...

This place may have been great 4/5 years ago but today it is just a lawsuit waiting to happen. There is a stench in the bathroom unlike no other and the urinal has been un operational for the past year atleast. The staff is extremely unprofessional (usually one person there). If you rent expect the party that follows yours to invade the field a good half hour before your rental time is over. And then there’s the actual field. It has had the same turf from when it first opened when I was in high school probably back in 2008. 12+ years later there are spot were the the concrete underneath the surface of the turf is showing and degraded to such a point I would call it potholes. The amount of money they charge is ridiculous. They need to immediately upgrade the conditions of this facility. Furthermore potential renters should not settle for it. They feed off the lack of indoor facilities in this area....

This place is so terrible that it’s laughable. It’s easily the dirtiest most disgusting building I have been in for the longest amount of time, and that includes my Grandfathers cattle barn. There isn’t one redeeming quality about this facility. Literally everything is terrible. The field is trash and in disrepair. The walls have exposed rusted metal, just a case of tetanus waiting to happen. The last time the bathrooms were cleaned was during the Clinton Administration. If “ chlamydia” was a building, this...
