Shark’s Fish & Chicken (Halal Food) — Restaurant in Maryland

If there was a -10 I would have given this place a negative rating. This place has wronged my order many times! Few weeks ago I ordered wings which turned out to be old, tiny bones with almost no meat on them! The owner tried to fix it and i told him without his customers his business wouldn’t survive. I guess he didn’t get the memo! Today I ordered scallops which should have been 12 pieces per menu. The front lady which i assume is the daughter or relative of the owner kept saying they come in 10 pieces despite what the menu says. I asked for a manager or to make the corrections, she was not willing to help! The scallops were horrible and undercooked! If you want quality food and good customer service just avoid this place. I have seen this place enough and won’t set foot ever in this horrible place. THIS PLACE IS ALL ABOUT CUTTING CORNERS AND RIPPING YOU OFF! You are better off at anywhere other than this sketchy place!

Update: 6/07/2022 @6:59pm…I called the place to speak with the owner after seeing his comments. The same lady that served me a day prior answered the phone…I asked to speak to the owner…she said he is not there and he doesn’t have a specific time to be in the store! WELL…THAT SAYS A LOT DOESN’T IT! If he takes the time to comment back and ask for a phone call back on a bad review but can’t be available and doesn’t have a regular work time how can you rely on a business like this!

STAY AWAY FROM...

The service was trash. When I ordered over the phone, I should have took the hint and canceled my order, but I love supporting small businesses. However I will not do so again, from this place. Im giving 1 star for the entire experience, from the ordering to the pickup, everything was below subpar. When I ordered my food, the girl acted like she didn't have a clue as to what I was talking about, so it made me unsure, even though I was looking at the actual menu,smh. She said my food would be ready in 20 mins and when I arrived, I had to wait an extra 20 as they took other people orders and gave them their food. I ordered an extra fry and didn't get it,nor did I get the soda that came with my combo. So if I were you, I would go some place else. The owner finally came from the back with my food. I had hoped the food would be worth the headache and it was not even a little. A lot of money spent when I could have gone to 5 guys and got better food and service. If I wanted Macdonald's service, I would have gone there, cause i wouldn't have spent no where near as much money or subpar food...

I visited this location because I wanted some hot fried fresh fish. I. Checked the reviews and they were mixed reviews. Since I was in the area and it was getting late, I gave it a try. This is basically a carry out and it did have seating. I noticed the large menu and decided to order the whole croker fish and the catfish plater. We were told our order will be ready in 15. Minutes and to listen for our receipt number. We waited for about 20 minutes before we decided to check on our order, especially after we have seen people come in, place an order and walked out with their order. Our order was sitting on the counter and we had to ask for it. We brought our food home. When I tasted both of the fish I ordered, they both tasted strange, they both tasted alike to a point that I did not want to continue to eat it. I'm a pescatarian and I know what most types of fish taste like, and what I had from this place was not even close. It's unfortunate to pay alot of money for food that did...
