Red Rocks Amphitheatre Entrance 1 — Local services in Golden

With so many people, I expected to stand in line for our ticket verification. Nope. They kept everyone moving during bag checks and tickets. If your not from Colorado, take your time going up the stairs. There are several flights and you will run out of breath. You can bring your own empty bottles to fill with water just past ticket check. The food is great. Staff was friendly and helpful when we were looking for directions. This is of course a wonderful concert venue and the parking people, security screening and ticket staff were super friendly and helpful. I do have to say the venue is sloppily run which if you go often enough to learn the quirks you can work to your advantage but to us as first time attendees we found it annoying. Do not use! Most people attending Red Rocks concerts will be better served by using Entrance 2 which is to the South. This entrance tends to get pretty crowded with cars lined up waiting in long lines to access parking lots.
