It is a pleasure to write a very positive review even though Budget Blinds began by making a small mistake. We chose two slightly different colors of blinds for two separate windows but we received blinds of a third (again slightly different) color and had them installed. When we realized the problem and contacted Budget Blinds, they quickly reordered and sent the same friendly installer to replace the blinds. We checked one set to verify that we were receiving the proper color before installation, but didn't check the second set. (After installation it is impossible to see the marker that identifies the color.) When we realized this, we called back to ask how we could verify the color for the second set, and they sent their representative back to us with a sample of the proper color for comparison. (All this was done at no charge.) After dealing with the hassles described in some of our other reviews, it was great to work with people who acknowledged problems and fixed them in an efficient and friendly manner. Budget Blinds came out and interviewed me to get exactly what I wanted in my blinds. I have a sliding glass door with an attached doggy door. I wanted floor length blinds for the people door area and short blinds that wouldn't hamper the dog & cat that use the doggy door. The two headers are perfectly straight and you can't tell they are 2 separate units for the sliding glass door. The floor length shades were too long and we didn't notice until after Joel left for another job. We called the office, they called him and Joel returned within the hour, cut the blinds off and they flow beautifully over the mud carpet we have on the floor to catch the rain and mud both the animals bring in. The skylight shade is wonderful! We got direct sun through it for close to 10 hrs. a day and some days you could feel the heat pouring in. Not anymore!
