Dr Miguel Dorantes is so incredibly unreasonable,as a new patient,he didnt even look at my chart,get to know me,or familiarize himself with my history before he flat out denied me what i need. He wouldent even have a conversation about it. I wasent theyer for pain medication or anything like that but these doctors are so much more concerned with protecting themselves from prosocution than they are upholding theyer oath and giving theyer patients the highest standard of care possible. All patients are not the same,we all have diffrent needs and diffrent reasons for those needs. The most messed up part about it is these doctors are the ones that created the prescription drug epidemic in this country. I would have given them a 5 rating but the other day when my appointment was set, they refused to see me. I had called in because my appointment time passed so I called in. The lady who answered said they had an emergency but that I should be getting a call back . I said okay. 20 minutes still no call . 30 minutes to an hour went by. I called again. She did not check with the doctor and she told me the same thing. My appointment was at 1:30pm. I'm calling through out the day and they keep telling me the same thing. So when I called last time which was at 5:15pm and she said dr. called and I told her my phone never rang. All she said was we could reschedule but til the end of the month. Terrible service. I had an in office visit with my doctor for 3 months now. The night before (at 5:45 pm) Susie calls me and says that the doctor is working from home and I won’t be able to see him. She also says that he has been working from home for 2 months. I asked her why she waited until the night before my appt to tell me I will not be seeing my doctor. She said I don’t know, I requested to speak to the manager. The manager already went home. I asked for the manager to call me and explain this. We will see if she call me.
