Used to pit stop here when it was Burger Queen. Now it's a delicious pupuseria (El Salvadorian)(sp?), simple breakfast place and burger stop. I'm trying the El salvadorian breakfast next time. Fried banana, eggs, protein, and either polenta or beans. My memory isn't clear upon recollecting my conversation with the kind young man. Feels like a family run place. Fresh. Punctual. Kind every time. Funny corn cob art piece in the bathroom. Got the three pack pupusas. Bean and cheese Pork chiccarone and cheese And jalapeno w cheese. I could drink the moderately hot sauce and next time I might kindly request extra picked veg, not because i feel the portions were small bull because it was delicious.. Read moreStopped here on thanksgiving evening on our way to morro bay. It was like finding a hidden gem. Simple but Nice comfy place to eat with family. It’s run by family and the young guy at cashier was so very helpful and friendly.
Had no clue what a pupusa was, so they explained it and being an adventurous vegetarian I ordered and it was AMAZING!! It also came with a kind of coleslaw which was also tasty.

Read moreHubby and I stopped here on a road trip, ordered 1 of each pupusa flavor (6 total) and absolutely inhaled them in 10 minutes flat. Piping hot, lightly flaky crust giving way to delightful chewiness just underneath, and oh the flavor of the inner fillings! The hot sauce selection and tangy coleslaw were great toppings too.
