Nathan was great and fit me in that day to install some new 6x9 speakers in my Regal gs. Called a few weeks before and talked to josh and told him I had the Harmon kardon premium 9 speaker system and we talked about JL speakers around 200 a pair which I was excited. Day I visited the store, I said I don’t want the cheapest but I don’t want diamonds, and was told the best replacement for the 6x9 speakers was the unity speakers by hybrid audio and that JL speakers would not be a good fit or serve the same purpose as the unity. 400 dollars for a pair! I even brought up the conversation with josh, and Nathan said he may have misunderstood and did not know what speakers I had or the solution or speaker options for this instance. I was skeptical to say the least but with raving reviews, I took his word and I feel I don’t hear a difference for the 400 dollars to what a 200 dollar fix would have been. Back deck now has vibrations and rattles when certain bass levels hit and I inquired about an amp to power them but said they would be fine. They lack sound and I think I need an amp. So... sticker shock for my only solution, new vibrations and rattles and weak sound from what I think is not enough power.... and $559 later, I should have just kept the stock Harmon kardon cause after replacement he said nothing was wrong with the speakers besides they were bottoming out. But the speakers were “bad” before the work was done. Purchased and done on August 8th. Getting three stars because I was worked in that day. Lost stars cause I felt I was sold something I don’t need and don’t have the power to power the speakers properly and have vibrations and rattles I did not have before. Hopefully I can fix with dynamat in the next few days.

After the talk with the owner, things are cleared up. Will be stopping by this week some time as one of the speakers has separated down by the spider/or top plate. Hope to find all my paperwork...

I had a bad experience with another shop in the area and was even more disappointed when I found I didn’t get all products I had paid for. I called them and with little uncomfortable conversation they gave me what I paid for product wise. A few weeks after I was having performance issues with my sound system I bought from them plus had them install. They looked at it but it was ultimately the same afterwards and they got more of an attitude plus defensive when all I wanted is what I was told I was getting and paid for. After all that and being extremely frustrated I wanted to give up but decided to atleast go to gnc customs to see what they had to say. When I got there I was impressed by there show room and could tell it was a friendly atmosphere. Not long after arriving josh came and asked if he could help me. I explained my situation and after talking which I could tell he knew his stuff. I went with what he recommended and scheduled to have the work done. I haven’t had it done yet but I feel extremely comfortable with them and have no worries. They did everything to earn my business and more and that’s why I bought extra products from them I wasn’t concerned with getting until later on down road. I look forward to my appointment with them and getting what I wanted done the first time and fixing the half assed install I received from those other guys. Here at GNC things are always done right and done well. Other shops throw cords wherever they can since you can’t see them; at gnc wires are treated like they have somewhere specific to be haha. They will do everything they can to get the build you want done exactly how you ask for it. The labor can be a bit more expensive than other local shops if you don’t buy your products from them, but even at full price the labor is worth every penny for such quality and peace of mind. I’ve been coming here since I was 16 and plan to keep coming back. I can get a bit overexcited jumping into new projects and the guys at GNC are always willing to put up with my bs and do whatever they can to...
