i have been coming to Bite Me Bait Shack fishing supply store and it blows me away by the selection and service. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about fishing, and their expertise is reflected in the quality of the products they offer. From rods and reels to bait and lures, they carry everything you need for a successful fishing trip.

I was particularly impressed with their selection of rods and reels. I will not be doing any more business with @bitemebaitshack. Recently I was falsely accused of stealing some pringles chips and a drink that I bought from Family Dollar near his shop. I came in the shop with my items with a family dollar bag and one of the employees asked me did I take it from the shop. I told him I didn’t and that I bought the items from the Family Dollar that was near by. On my next visit to the store with a friend I was approached by the owner of the shop who told me, “Let me talk to you outside”. He said that if I had any negative energy then I don’t need to come to his store anymore and that no one is forcing me to buy from him. I didn’t come to buy anything from his store that day, I just came alongside my friend. The owner of @bitemebaitshack also told me I commented bad things on his Instagram page, he showed me the Instagram comment and it wasn’t my Instagram page but he continued to accuse me for doing so and asked me what did I expect him to think. I had a reel dropped off on the 7th to get cleaned and serviced. About 10 days later I get a called to pick it up.

The reel itself was actually submerged through Hurricane Ian in FT Myers. I expressed I knew water had got inside the reel so I paid them to get it taken apart and serviced (clean,oil,grease).

I got it back and the reel felt funny on the ride back home. Still felt stiff to me. Another red flag was that I saw the same discharge of water and grease mixed coming up by the rotor. (Red circle in picture)

So I had a feeling it was never even taken apart in the first place, I just opened it and it was never even opened. Incredible.

In a nutshell, I paid $30 bucks for them to remove my reel handle, spool and apply some grease to make it LOOK like something was done ?

The whole gear system inside still has the original grease that was mixed with seawater from when I first dropped it off.
