Save A Lot — Local services in Grabill

Most of the time the staff there is great. However a couple of months ago a young man started working there that is completely worthless. At checkout, he doesn't even acknowledge the person he's checking out. He is busy talking to other members of the staff. Additionally when asked to bag quarts of juice I was completely ignored so I had to do it myself. This is a repeat performance for this individual, but today it got under my skin. What a lousy way to attract new customers by having some idiot that won't give customers the time of day, yet spends all his time talking to other employees while they are trying to work. I'm a very easy going person until I'm given a reason not to be. Today, stopped at store to return something. The cashier acted like I was putting her out. When she gave me my money, she literally shoved it in my hand. As I was walking out, the other cashier said, "she has to ask why you're returning," to which I replied that I had no problem with that. It was her attitude that I had a problem with! I hope she'll find a differnt job because she is definitely not customer friendly....

Very disappointed w/this visit. When I asked the butcher to hand cut two rib eye steaks 1" to 1.25" thick, he told me he couldn't. When I asked for further assistance from a lady employee she told them to cut the steaks I had asked for.
