I will start with we were excited on going to the drive in , but our experience was awful. No one monitors how people park so they take up both parking spots to spread out the eight isn't enough clan, so the first and second rows only had maybe space for 8 cars. Then the movie starts right on time, but the picture was really dark like a cheap projector and the sound was distorted to the point of reverberation through the parking lot and that's if you could here it over the high school football game going on across the street , so between the band and the cheering fans you couldn't hear anything else. And on top of all this people were constantly getting in and out of their car's and of course people don't know how to get into a car without putting their foot on the brakes so you get blinded by brake lights every 5 minutes. After about 20 minutes into the movie I learned over and asked my wife and daughter,? can you hear anything. They both looked at and said, I thought it was just me. None of us could make any dialogue. So not to ruin our night we moved to the seating at the concession stand hoping to at least hear but to know success. Oh yeah and you can't bring in your own outside food and drinks. Needless to say wanting to have a nostalgic experience and bring back the great memories of the drive-in theater would have been priceless. But nope after 20$ for entrance and 15$ on popcorn and drinks, 5$ more to rent a radio thinking we could hear better but nope we went back to exchange it for another one thinking it was defective because of the distortion, that's when the very nice young woman behind the counter told us it's not the radio we're having trouble with the sound system. So needless to say within 30 minutes of arrival we packed up our belongings and left with me asking my wife and daughter does your butt hurt, because we just got screwed. This was my experience, not trying to convince anyone from going and reliving great memories, but the memory of this night is one I would like to forget. It will forever be called the...
Read moreIt's an ok place. $20/ car load. On double feature day, you get to watch 2 newly released movies for a price cheaper than going to regular theatres. They honour military, police, and fire fighters, and offer discounted entrance fee ($20 → $15 ). High school and college students also get in with discount. Consession stand has stuff at reasonable prices, and you can also bring your own food and drink. I just do not like that people are allowed to smoke here, and also ladies restroom can really use some renovation. Some people even leave their engines on during the entire movie, and kids play and run around loudly during the movie but parents don't do...
Read moreThis was a great experience. The parking spots were good sized, grass well kept and frankly one of the best movie experiences I have had in a while. Two full sized trucks could park next to each other without feeling crammed. The kids loved being able to sprawl out in the bed of the pickup and watch a movie. The sound plays over the radio so you can use your car, personal radio or rental radio ( rental is $5). They price by the car for admission so again, great deal. The concessions stand was pretty darn good for prices too. There was even seating there. No complaints, will definitely...
