Heartland Events Center — Local services in Grand Island

Went to see mannheim steamroller which was an awesome event. However, wasn't impressed with heartland event center in sland of itself. The parking was ridiculous. Like driving through some back alley to reach the venue. There were no parking attendants, no security, so cars were willy nilly driving every which way. Literally, park anywhere u want and how u want sideways, forward, backwards. Leaving was even worse. No rhyme or reason just go. Cars zooming around in a construction zone. The fees were outrageous as there was no value in you get what you pay for. I'd recommend d avoid the heartland event center. Go to Omaha or Lincoln. No, cops, no one direction the traffic, just all of us...

Due to extremely cold weather the Event Center announced that "At this time..." the show will go on. They did not update that in a timely manner so it was difficult to determine if it made sense to drive to Grand Island and make arrangements to stay there until the roads were safe again.

I attended the show. The facility did a great job of having a warm place to wait in line inside for the ticket line. The show was great. The event staff did a wonderful job of making the experience very enjoyable.

The most frustrating thing was that when I received an answer on Facebook they indicated they had known that the show was going to be held but had failed to...

I went with a friend to check out the new temporary casino and it was pretty nice. I seen one guy who kept getting free spins, like 72, and cashed out just under 1,000 . I sat beside some elder ladies playing 25 cent machines and all three of us were hitting some smaller wins, then the one hit 200 and they cashed out and walked away. They told me some guy won 15,000 a little earlier in the day. Anyway, I was up, then down. Up, down etc... I cashed out and left 20 bucks richer than when I went in. So, it...
